Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altes Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. In 15 minutes you can be in the city of Hamburg via the A1. Rade belongs to the Neu Wulmstorf administrative union in the Harburg district. Rade has its own motorway exit and entrance, making it easy to find the motorway exit even for those unfamiliar with the area. The proximity to the Stuvenwald, which is partly already part of Hamburg, gives the place its rural character,

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area with very good connections: the S-Bahn is 8 minutes' walk away and leads directly to the most important sights. The city center and harbor can be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Parking spaces are not on the property, but are available free of charge and for an unlimited time on the roundabout directly in front of the house. The "Honigspeicher" is an old wooden house that has stood on this site for over 240 years. It is a place steeped in history, located in the heart of the tiny village of Hartböhn. The house was completely renovated in 2024 and features a tastefully furnished and comfortable living area for two people with a garden and two terraces. It offers plenty of peace and space. Active guests can walk, cycle and explore the beautiful Lüneburg Heath to their heart's content.

Whether you're taking long walks or bike rides, enjoying coffee and cake on the terrace, or having a barbecue on the fire pit, it's up to you. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.

There is a bus line to Hamburg-Harburg or Winsen Luhe. 5 km from the Hoopte ferry terminal and 5 minutes' walk to the beautiful Seeve nature reserve.

Our holiday home on the Pulverbach is located in a very quiet street directly by the forest. It has about 90 square meters. You have a terrace to relax on and a garden at your disposal. The bus stop with direct connection to Hamburg is only five minutes away. The Heide and the Heidschnuckenweg are also very close. For your bike there is a covered parking space that is not visible, right by the front door.

Slowing down in the Lüneburg Heath

If you really want to slow down and relax, then you are in the right place in our guesthouse in the countryside. Located in the middle of a large, beautifully landscaped garden, you have a small cottage all to yourself. With the best views of the countryside and nature pure all around from every window and right outside the front door. Up to 4 people have enough space in the spacious 2 bedroom apartment.
