Your host family Antoinette, Markus and Giovanni The apartment is located in a detached house in the hamlet of “Ebnet” in the municipality of Bitsch at about 900 m/above sea level. Bitsch is a small, cozy village in Upper Valais. It is located on the southern slope 5 km east of Naters/Brig, at the foot of the Aletsch area (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site). To the south, the Simplon Pass leads directly to Domodossola/Italy. Located on the first floor, you can use the large garden seating area with beautiful views of the Valais mountains alone in addition to the apartment (1 large living room with double and single bed, sofa, reading chair, WELAN TV, 1 well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower). Garden furniture and deck chairs invite you to linger outdoors, soak up the sun and relax. By public transport, arrival to us is possible without a car. On foot you can reach the local shop, the post office and bank in about 15 minutes, by bus in 5 minutes. The possibilities to enjoy your time are limitless: Versatile sports activities (hiking, climbing, cycling, skiing, swimming, etc.) Cultural activities (museums, theaters, cultural events depending on the season) and a lot of nature (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Aletsch, Binntal Nature Park, etc.) are right at your doorstep. As a family who likes to travel a lot ourselves, we look forward to exchanging ideas with our guests. We speak German, English, French and Italian. On request, we will spoil you with a hearty breakfast with regional, natural products. If necessary, we will arrange a mountain or hiking guide for you and try to meet your "extra requests" if possible. The main thing is that you feel comfortable and relax!

The unit had everything we needed and more. Well stocked, lots of space, and Ruth was very sweet and welcoming. the surrounding hills and vineyards are spectacular. We spent hours walking the paths around the town and it's a great base camp for hikes in the surrounding mountains. We would stay here again.

In the kitchen, everything is available, the bathroom is beautiful as well as sauna and hot tub are easy to adjust, as there are wood and lighters. Great cottage with a lot of "rustic charm". The facility was furnished with great attention to detail and everything was individually coordinated. The communication was excellent - inquiries were responded to immediately. The single-lane approach is already a bit adventurous, especially in oncoming traffic, and the ascent with luggage requires a certain basic level of fitness. You will be rewarded with an incomparable, quiet, secluded location and magnificent views. Directly from the hut, you can hike all three car-free alpine pastures (Bettmeralp, Riederalp, Fieschalp) and more. An absolute recommendation for all nature lovers!

We are so happy to stay at Elsbeth’s apartment as everything is well equipped. We can occupy the entire apartment with private kitchen and bathroom. It is clean、spacious and comfortable. We stay 4 nights and feel so relaxed and enjoyable. We will miss Brig and Elsbeth’s apartment forever. If we go back to Brig, we will stay here again.
