Kitchen and living room in one, with lovely views and two verandas. The house is located in a very peaceful area on our farm, at the end of a road. Here you can lower your shoulders and leave time still. There is nice hiking terrain just outside your doorstep. You can walk on trails in the field, or take the car to popular destinations in the area such as the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Kongeparken, Sandnes and Stavanger.

Mountain cabin in a quiet area

The cabin is secluded in peaceful surroundings. In the summer you can drive all the way to the cabin, in the winter when there is snow it is 100 meters to walk. Ski slopes right outside the door and sledding hill and proximity to the ski lift. There is large terrace with chairs and table and cozy barbecue area, and you will hear the sound of a small creek running by. For the kids there is a small play hut. Inside the cabin there is a large living room with a fireplace and dining area for the whole family. Lots of good sleeping places in four bedrooms.

Here you can hike, fish, go skiing in winter or relax in the sauna or with a good book in front of the fireplace oven. Newer cottage located on the "top of Stavtjørn" with great standard, good lighting conditions, beautiful views and a warm and cozy atmosphere. The cabin has several zones for tranquility and relaxation, including a furnished kitchenette with seating bench. Outside there is a large terrace with integrated seating benches. Kodlhomtjørn, a lovely bathing water is in slipper distance from the cabin. In winter, cross-country ski trails and Stavtjørn alpine are easily accessible. Fire pan outside. SUP available. Bed linen must be brought.

The cabin was built in 2016 and has four bedrooms, loft with workspace, 1 bathroom and living room/ kitchen with exit to terrace.

There are several hiking opportunities in both summer and winter! Free parking. The distance from common parking lot to the cabin is about 400 meters.

There is a 230V, 1000W, converter where you can plug in phone chargers, PCs, vacuum cleaner etc. The cabin is without running water, and drinking water is provided in 25L canisters. Heat comes from the fireplace. Composting toilet. Foot pump driven shower. Propane driven hotplates and oven. This is living sustainability.
