Our place has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double Kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has three single beds. The bed in the loft is 120 cm wide. You will find a shower room with shower, washing machine, dryer and a sink. The toilet is in a separate room where you will also find a hand basin and the hot water heater for the cabin. The Sauna is in the main hallway just outside the shower room. The hallway leads down three steps to the dining/living room/kitchen with a doorway out to the terrace area. Outside you have a terrace overlooking the lake. You will also find the outside shower and several places around the cabin to sit depending on where the sun is and the time of day. The Jacuzzi is beside the parking places for the cabin facing towards the mountain views and the lake.

Cabin in natural surroundings by the waterfront

Older cabin with simple furnishings and power supplied by a solar panel. Cell phone charging via USB port. There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor grill (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a refrigerator, and a gas stove/cooking area. There are plates, bowls, glasses, and cutlery. There are also frying pans and pots. There is no running water, so we fill water jugs with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing dishes. Bright and exclusive holiday home of high standard with fantastic views and very good sun conditions. Bordering an adventurous open area. Boat berth included. Perfect starting point for a trip to Preikestolen, Kjerag and Lysefjorden. Large windows and access to a large terrace from three glass doors. Pergola is covered with glass roof. Garden furniture, gas grill and fire pit are included. Right below the holiday home (120 meters) you can sit on the rock and watch the sun set in the sea. Good fishing opportunities.

Unique tiny house with panoramic views - "Fjordbris"

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in its own right. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Preikestolen 10 minutes to parking. Read the reviews from previous guests. The view is stunning, and the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 10:20 PM on the longest days. Settle in for several days and go on great hikes and to mountain peaks from the front door. A five-minute walk away, you can swim in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city center (10 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive) with all necessary stores available.
