Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

The garden leads to open fields and the riverbank. We are a working family beef & sheep farm and have been welcoming guests to stay for over 50yrs many returning & becoming friends. The cottage has full central heating, free WiFi & a landline. Well equipped for upto 5 people it heating , linen, towels & 20% VAT in the price.

It is in a remote, quiet and secluded part of Mid Devon within an hour of both the North or South coasts of Devon. It is accessible down narrow single track country lanes. The nearest shops are in the town of Tiverton, five miles away. The broadband has been upgraded to Ultrafast fibre to the premises with speeds of at least 450mbps. However, there is no mobile phone signal in the valley.

Spacious country retreat in the heart of Devon.

The Cider Barn, a piece of our 17th Century Devon farm. This beautiful space provides spacious self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people. Its a fantastic place to relax, and visit local attractions like Dartmoor. Unwind in a private wood fired hot tub gazing out onto the idyllic countryside. Home grown eggs, chicken and beef for sale. We have a pizza oven to rent and a charcoal bbq. Dogs very welcome, however they must be kept off soft furnishings at all times.
