Really nice place and surroundings, beautiful garden, lovely little flat

A lovely modern house in a gorgeous location with all the things you need for a lovely stay , the house is thoughtfully decorated and is just right. It’s in a lovely village , and if you take the shortcut you can be in the pub in a few minutes. Be aware that the pub shuts on a Monday and Tuesday in the winter at least , there is also a lovely village shop. The village has lovely views and is surrounded by countryside. The roads are narrow but that’s what you expect in Devon.

I can’t say enough about how much my partner, Fi, and I, enjoyed staying at The Granary. It’s beautiful, tranquil and comfortable, and has every item you need for a hassle free stay. Both Kate and her husband David, are both a welcoming and charming couple. They’ve created such a beautiful space, that’s so comfortable and relaxing to spend time in. We felt at home from the off. A bottle of wine and a birthday card were waiting for Fi on arrival. I’d just happened to mention it was Fi’s birthday weekend, in my initial ‘request to stay’ message. After about 30 minutes after arriving, Kate appeared with the best homemade flapjacks I’ve ever tasted. The Granary is very privately situated and is only 15 minutes from Dartmouth, by car. I can’t emphasise how lovely Kate and David are, and how good there wonderful place is. 10/10 from us. Thank you both for helping to make Fi’s birthday weekend so memorable. We’ll be back next year!

Cider House is a beautiful and very clean house. Few meters away from it is a small green area with a few benches, trees and grass. Also there is pleace for barbecue. Front garden was secure for my dog witch was a bonus. Great communication with Poul and localization just few minutes by car to the beautiful beaches of Devon! We had a great stay!
