Here you can enjoy the many friendly independent shops, bakeries, cafes, bistros , the art deco Ritz Cinema and not forgetting a few of the towns 19 pubs.

The Garden apartment in historic Milford offers a cosy, self-contained retreat in a Grade II stone cottage, built c.1795, with a private garden and scenic views of the World Heritage mill village. The old mill is currently being developed. The area is easily explored with walks, pubs & restaurants from your doorstep. A bus route provides easy access to the Peak District National Park, Derby city, shops, and tourist attractions like Chatsworth, galleries & museums. We’d love to welcome you :-)

Perfect for 1 - 2 people, the space has a comfortable double bed, full bathroom with roll top bath, a seating nook with Netflix on TV & a kitchenette. Approx. 7 minutes walk from the high street, train station, amenities & pubs, with Belper River Gardens & local walks 7 minutes in the other direction. The main house is also available to rent for 4 people.

Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.
