Staying at Charles Chalet for a work-related trip was one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the quiet, peaceful atmosphere—perfect for productivity during the day and relaxation in the evening. Eugenia is an exceptional host. She communicated clearly, responded quickly, and ensured that every detail was handled with professionalism and care. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, the workspace was comfortable, and the overall environment made it easy to focus without distractions. After work hours, the cozy interior and beautiful surroundings provided the perfect setting to unwind. It’s rare to find a place that balances both work and relaxation so seamlessly, but Charles Chalet does exactly that. Highly recommend for business travelers who need a dependable and serene place to stay. I’ll definitely be booking again the next time work brings me to the area!

Beautiful location, unique stop. Far enough from I-95 to really get a sense of the community, close enough to make it a easy alternative to a hotel. Sierra responded quickly, fielded my questions into the evening, and was incredibly flexible. The morning walk to the little lake was magical. Thank you!

We really enjoy ourselves. Nice place for fishing & river boating. I felt safe enough for us to bring our grandkids next time, as the location is located on a private community.

Nice, clean home in a quiet gated community. Baytree Lake access was 2 minutes away which was very nice. It certainly was a great place to stay!

Robert and Heather were great and so was their location! Location was awesome! We were in town for a golf trip and brought the wives to have a great weekend trip by the lake! Fun and successful! This place is great for RV campers that love fishing and enjoy the peaceful water front location. Groceries and restaurants at walking distance. Elizabethtown is a cozy location and people were very friendly to us. Only comments are things included with camping in the country: lots of ants nest and geese $hit.

Absolutely beautiful. Me and my now wife got married this weekend, had plenty of room for our bridal party on night one and the rest of the weekend we felt like the world could just leave us alone. No one around to bother us but not terribly far from things to do or things to eat. 10/10 will be back!

The cabin was lovely and right on the river. We didn’t have much luck with the fishing unfortunately but that didn’t matter too much because we enjoyed how nice and peaceful It was on the floating dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the played a few games of cornhole that was available at the cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and no issues with cleanliness or odors as another review stated. In the photos the cabin looks pretty remote. However there are other homes/cabins next to it, so just be aware. The ones on either sides of us were empty while we were there so no issues. We loved the cabin and will likely be back for another weekend getaway.

Sharon was a great host, very responsive to any questions we had and gave us some recommendations. The house was perfect for my wife and I, very clean, great outside deck and close to the river. We stayed here because it was close to our expedition to the Three Sisters. Check in and out was very easy and we were able to check in a bit early. Will stay here again the next time we are in the area.
