Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Blair County

This was our 2nd stay at Mary’s place, and we will definitely be back again when we are in the area.

Our group thanked me over and over for finding this place. Everyone enjoyed their bedrooms and the fact they had their own bathrooms and was impressed with how well stocked the inn was. One bedroom was called "The Rose". The occupant felt like a princess in the room so she called it the Princess Room. Our favorite gathering place was the back porch with all the rockers. We all loved the decor of the inn and the rich history of its origin. And we all fell in love with the name of the inn, The Inn at Sabbath Rest right from the start. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks to you Stephanie, and your husband for being wonderful caretakers of such a historic place.

A perfect place to stay when visiting relatives in the area. Very comfy beds with a bathroom in each room keep the kids happy with each other, too! It's a huge house, with plenty of space. We loved hanging out in the sunroom area! The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to use. We hope to stay there again when we visit the area again! Thank you for your kindness!!

Chad's little house in Tyrone was a wonderful find! It was very clean, beautiful inside and out and everything we needed on our trip. Chad was so easy to work with and a life saver after we had a bad experience at our original bnb. Definitely book this great house!

Our stay in Warrior’s Mark was absolutely perfect! From the jump, Chris was super friendly and helpful. The cottage was immaculate and so cozy. We were in town for a wedding weekend and this was the perfect place to relax before & after. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely be back in the future. The town itself is quite charming and the people are also friendly. Absolutely worth the price for our stay. Thank you again!!

Great place to stay!

The place was clean and nice! I liked having the two restaurants nearby, the bar restaurant in the basement came in handy for food when I got in later than expected one night. Despite the restaurants hustle and bustle, it was quiet in the room! I would stay there again!

Great location in downtown Tyrone. Very clean and nicely decorated. Nothing fancy but suited our purposes perfectly. Expect the 22 steps to the apartment, we had heavy bags.

This location has access to a few mountain hiking trails 30 seconds outside your door. Very private, no one else on the trails. Some of them run along a driver and leads to a waterfall. Shower has mobile head which is a plus; bathtub comes with stopper. Kitchen well stocked. AC works very well -- comes on immediately and cools or heats quickly.

This place was close to the slopes, perfect for the price, unfortunately, blue knob had several amenities down. But Douglas was quick to remedy a solution for disappointment! 10/10 would rent from him again!!!

Sherry’s place was exactly what was described in the listing and even better in person. Our family of four enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend here and enjoyed the golf course and Clubhouse Restaurant. We will be returning again soon. Make sure you give this place a try!

Larry was an incredible host and responsive. Condo felt right at home, beautiful scenery and quiet. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I’d book again just to get away and relax. Worth it. :)

Great deal, comfortable beds, had everything I needed had issues with the toilet and got fixed right. Great hosts and will take care of you if something happens with the Airbnb.

2 months here and an absolutely wonderful experience with a wonderful host. My team and I were here for business and we could not thank Jacinda more for welcoming us. She communicated well and made things super easy from start to finish. we didn't have any real issues. We felt right at home for all 60 days. Everything was clean and the property was in tip top shape. highly recommended if you are looking for a quality stay.

The wooded mountain setting is just relaxing and the stress of the world’s problems melted away during the drive up the mountain. I would strongly recommend checking in during daylight, especially if there is fog (or snow in winter). This is a ski resort and the roads are mountain ski resort roads and visibility can be sketchy in weather. Never had time to use the resort amenities but they were very close and looked very nice. On one of my puppy walks I saw a common area with a fire pit pre-stocked with wood. Wish I had time to use it. Booking was smooth and hosts were very responsive even after hours. E-locks made check in easy. Nice K-cup coffee selection was a life saver. Bathroom was good sized and spotless. Wife is a clean freak and didn’t utter a peep! A primary concern of my wife and I is sleep comfort. The mattress was more COMFORTABLE than the one at home - not the cheap mats you find at some airbnbs. Heaters looked new and took the chill off the rainy nights perfectly.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had the best time! The hosts are the nicest people and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay! The hosts kept us posted on all of the fun activities on the mountain. We loved the fireplace in the condo. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Excellent, very quiet and safe place

The place was cozy and comfortable. All the bedding and furniture was dated but comfortable. I really enjoy my stay overall as it was close to the ski slope and provided a nice place to relax. My two complaints are that the showers are very finicky about temperature, the would go from burning hot to freezing cold without doing anything and that the dishwasher is broken so we had to hand-wash all the dishes we used.
