Historic Loch Side Home of a Royal Princess

Ferry Inn Cottage is a unique house sitting on the shores of the Gareloch in Rosneath Peninsula, Argyll and Bute. Dating from 1895, it was designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens for Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria. Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
