Bald Eagle State Park has a boat launch in Howard, lighted and provides 24-hour access. The cottage is 30 minutes from Penn State University in State College. 20 minutes from Lock Haven University, Lock Haven. There are many local activities. We are located halfway between State College (Penn State) and Lewisburg (Bucknell), approximately 40 minutes commute either way. This area is great for hiking, biking, hunting, and excellent fly fishing.
