El Sol was the perfect place for our little getaway! It was clean, cute and cozy, the perfect spot for my husband and I. I liked that it was located just close enough to town without it being a long drive, but also tucked away enough to be away from the city. We saw 5 deer on the property during our stay! All in all El Sol made our trip a great one and we can’t wait to come back!

We had such an amazing time! We fell in love with this cabin! We loved our time so much we stood an extra night! Debbie was very responsive to our messages. I love how private this place is. We had such a relaxing time! We can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful place for a getaway! It’s very peaceful and the cabins are so cozy. There were thunderstorms the night we stayed at the cabin and we actually enjoyed watching the lightning from the big window. We also saw deer walk by and our dogs loved watching them from the cabin. Big thank you for clear instructions from the host and for being pet-friendly!

My husband stayed at the bird point cabin for 3 full days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. We loved the privacy we had at the cabin and how close it was to Main Street. The cabin was very cute and perfect for this trip. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would stay at the bird point cabin again if we find ourselves back in Fredericksburg.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy sitting on the porch enjoying nature, yet having Fredericksburg 15 minutes away. Hot tub right outside the door. Beautiful rustic looking cabin with all the modern conveniences. Extra nice touch with a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived.

Enjoyed seeing the deer, Cardinals and squirrels during our stay. Relaxed in the hot tub, underneath the beautiful oak trees. House has all the amenities and kitchen items necessary for a home cooked meal. Went shopping at the local grocery store, also nearby. Location is approximately 2 miles from town. Close to several wineries and restaurants. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended.

My family and I loved staying at this cozy home nestled into the beautiful nature of the Texas Hill Country. Pulling in felt like arriving at a private resort, and we all enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck to watch the stunning sunset. Our kids loved playing in the perfect sized pool, and the adults loved the experience of relaxing in the sauna while listening to the birds sing outside. The retro arcade cabinet was a huge hit with the kids (and with me, I’ll admit), and we enjoyed watching a family movie on the projector screen upstairs (the kids felt like they were in a private movie theatre). Maria and Larry are incredibly welcoming and proactive hosts; if you need anything at all, they won’t hesitate to help. I could not recommend this place higher, and we definitely will be coming back!

This stay was exactly what my husband I needed! I just sat outside and listened to the birds early in the morning, something I also love doing at home. I could've sat outside all day if it wasn't Texas in June! ha! The cabin itself was just as described. The photos do make it seem a bit bigger but honestly, you don't need bigger for 2 people. We went to Canyon to just spend time on the water. After over doing it the first day, we instead, chose to spend our second full day just enjoying the cabin. We had some hot tub time in the afternoon, played board games for a couple of hours, and just rested! For anyone worried about how close the cabin is to the main house, don't worry! It's positioned for privacy! It was so stinking relaxing and I can't wait to go back.

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I went with my fiancé and our two dogs. Everything was perfect- we had privacy, easy access to local attractions including Westcave Preserve and Hamilton Pool, and the view is stunning. Hummingbird feeders line the porch and they are constantly being visited by the birds. Creek access requires some physical ability but is doable. The cabin itself had a master on the first floor and lofted second floor with two beds. The bathroom was clean and the refrigerator was stocked with bottled waters for us to drink. Patti and David are lovely people, and we look forward to coming back and staying again.

If you’re looking for a place to sit back and relax, this is it. Grab yourself a book and a drink and sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Enjoyed the stay!

Clean home and solid construction off the beaten path provided a wonderful night‘s rest. Early morning rise followed with tranquil outside seat and first cup of coffee followed by a second. Every box checked for a weary traveler seeking to refresh and replenish a dwindling reserve. Old books and vast views exist side-by-side and up-close with hill country nature and healing.

Paul’s place was just right for the getaway we wanted. Spacious enough for staying a few days. We wanted to have a quiet place as our location to explore the hill country.

Place was super cute and as described! It’s really easy to find too! I love the privacy of the area with the gate. I also love the shower! So refreshing.

If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place ! I could sit on the porch and watch the humming birds for hours. The property is beautiful and Brigitte & Shawn are wonderful host. We will definitely be coming back to visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Wimberly. The house was easy to find-using the instructions listed in the check-in instructions. It was extremely clean and smelled fresh without being overpowering. The master bedroom linens were exceptional quality and made us feel at home, while our teenagers slept comfortably in the upstairs loft. Most things in the home were labeled and many had QR codes to access videos to explain functionality. We are already thinking about planning a trip back to this property.

A very nice little spot in nature! Great views and easy access to Johnson City. The cabin is small (I wouldn’t recommend it for groups larger than 2) but was well furnished and had a pleasantly surprising number of amenities packed in. We didn’t find ourselves in need of anything that wasn’t provided. The hot water was a little limited, but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. The property itself is also beautiful with the aforementioned views, wide open space away from a lot of light for great stargazing, and a number of little places to explore on property like the hammock tree. Host was communicative and check in/check out was easy. Recommended!

We will definitely book this again! In fact we are thinking to book the entire compound with friends and family! It’s so special how they have this place tucked in the woods but it’s really within the city limits and 18 minutes from Gruene and less than 30 minutes to San Antonio. We were really impressed how quiet and peaceful it is and really enjoyed our morning coffee listening to all the birds, as amateurs we are of bird watching we caught a few different species, wood peckers and cardinals were definitely showing up! Deers and foxes, and the sound of goats at a near by property. We just enjoyed this, we did not want to leave! We went hiking a bit at the Panther Path hike by the Landa park. You can fish in the Landa park. It was a nice little break for us to come back to our high stress jobs! Thank you!

Awesome weekend getaway and exactly as advertised. Rare combination of history and modernity - you can picture yourself in the 1800s and then hop in the AC! We went to celebrate a birthday and found David’s place to be perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the goats, the local plums and goat cheese, and just wish we had more time to explore the area! Highly recommend for couples looking to escape for a weekend. David was friendly and informative. He lives on part of the property but you still feel secluded and private.

Nice and peaceful house to stay in. My husband myself and 6 year old grandson stayed in this home. Nice to have a paddle board and tubes at the house to float on. Very nice yard , loved that you can walk right down to the creek from the back yard. My grandson caught a few fish and enjoyed releasing them back into the water. We will definitely rent this property again. Perfect location. Thank you.

Location was great. Cabin was beautiful. Pool was awesome! We had a great time and Gabriel was very responsive.

One of my favorite airBNBs! Immaculate, full of plants and lights. Comfy bed, and it was bliss listening to the wind with the amazing view of the canyon. We loved hiking the trails on the property and the kids loved he trampoline.

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend at Trinidad’s and Samantha’s place! The whole airbnb is thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and you really can’t beat the views all around the property. Enjoy the stock tank pool and do some stargazing, because on a clear night it’s perfect for it. Thanks for an excellent stay!
