Perfect for couples , a travel cot is available for a small child. 8 miles east of the beautiful historic city of Norwich with easy access to the famous Norfolk-broads as well as the lovely beaches of the East and North Norfolk coasts. A wonderful area for sailing , canoeing ,walking and bird watching. Two coarse/carp fishing lakes within walking distance.

An immaculately presented two bedroom semi-detached cottage with a large private garden and off-street parking. A shop and a great Indian restaurant within 1/2 mile walk, and a great pub about 1 mile away, however you really do need a car to get anywhere. A quiet location with only a handful of houses nearby. Eight miles from the centre of Norwich, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, 15 miles to the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast. Lots to do, with both city and country life close by.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We just spent a few days at The Retreat and everything was perfect. It is in a peaceful, rural location but with an excellent pub almost next door (Salhouse Lodge) which has great food and is dog friendly. We visited with our nervous dog and Mark and Marion were very accommodating of her - the private garden was also secure for her to run around in. You get a gorgeous view of the sunset from The Retreat and it’s also a great view for spotting wildlife - we saw a Little Owl and Red Kite from the garden :) You can walk from The Retreat to Salhouse Broads and we also drove to nearby beaches. Thanks for a brilliant stay!

Very clean and well equipped studio impeccably hosted. Within walking distance of excellent pub food (Kings Head in Blofield). We were visiting family so are familiar with the area and can confirm that the property is genuinely well situated for visiting Norwich, the Broads and coastline.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. The location was convenient and peaceful, with easy access to local attractions/public transport/etc. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the cozy linens to the well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful self contained country cottage annexe

We had a fabulous week staying at the annexe, it’s lovely and spacious and very comfortable! A great base for exploring all the wonderful places which Norfolk has to offer and having access to an outside seating area is a treat. Excellent power shower and great open plan kitchen with modern cooking facilities too as we like to be able to cook or grab a takeaway rather than eat out every night. We ate in the local pub once which served tasty food though! Mark and Jasmine were very welcoming and helpful hosts and gave us some great tips on where to go in the area and even gave us some of their delicious home grown fruit and vegetables from their beautiful garden. They also have two adorable friendly dogs who visited us regularly for a fuss and tummy rub! I can highly recommend staying here, it’s very peaceful and good value for the space you get!

We’ve just had a lovely stay, the place was very cute, great decor, nice and clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The hot tub was a great extra, especially having 2 teenagers to entertain! As the details state, you are attached to the hosts house, so you can hear movement etc from next door and above you, but it is still private so isn’t a problem. Jase has great communication and has been very helpful at every point of our booking and during our stay. Thank you!
