Beachfront holiday rental in Bluff

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful home and very flexible and responsive host. The bed and lines an are the most comfortable in any Airbnb I have been to.Very modern and nice apartment with great pressure and hot water in the shower. Will definatly recommend

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

We had a lovely 2 night stay - but we would have loved to stay longer. We got to see some dolphins while enjoying our morning coffee outside. The flat is close to the beach and has lots of activities. It’s safe and secure.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. The space was comfortable with homely amenities. The morning view of the ocean and the sunrise was special. We had dolphin sightings on both days that we stayed. We also spotted beautiful birds. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Bev - you have a special spot and your attention to detail made the cottage extra comfortable.

It was our second visit to Matt&Nadine’s place and once again everything was excellent. You can’t find a better spot and more comfortable unit. The location is magical and so easy if you are travelling with a family. We will definately be back. Thank you Matt&Nadine, you go above and beyond.

Yusuf’s apartment was in a great location close to everything. Short walk to beachfront, restaurants and was a well maintained place to stay. The security at the gate was friendly and welcoming, creating peace of mind.

I spent 1 night at the house and really had a great time, the place is nice and clean with nice sea views. Paula has been an amazing host, very responsive,I strongly recommend it and will definitely come back for a longer stay.

We had such a wonderful time by Megan’s place, I absolutely recommend this place for a breather and fresh air, the beach is just a walking distance. Beautiful beach view, amazing host, I wouldn’t change a single thing about our stay here. I couldn’t swim because the winning pool water was too cold for me 🙈 definitely coming back in summertime so I can use the pool, thanks a lot Megan.

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.

Thank you for making our stay so comfortable! Anjasi made the check-in process seamless and even offered us a complimentary late check-out, which we really appreciated. The place was spotless and well-maintained, and the stunning beach views were the perfect finishing touch :)

We had a great stay - the place is very comfortable and we felt right at home. We loved the view of the harbor! It's very close to the prom and the beach. We were in town for the Ironman event -- and this place is absolutely the perfect location as it's just by the swim start and T1... we were able to bike and walk around very efficiently. And it was also quiet, secure, and convenient. Thanks again! If we're back in Durban for another IM we'd love to stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was cozy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the overall ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering helpful tips and making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. I have travelled from Norway looking for a lovely place to celebrate my partners birthday, and this home exceeded my expectations. This was my 5th visit to Bluff and I will keep coming back to give all the different people in my life the amazing experience that Geovanna place gives me and my friends when I am there. It’s my second home now.
