Cottage holiday rentals in Bodega Bay

We’re very familiar with the surrounding area and this home is classic to the Russian River vibe. It’s easy to access Jenner Highland preserve, Armstrong woods and river activities. We found the listing to be accurate and very clean. We did not access the small secondary building but appreciated the hot tub. We also were glad we left our dog at home as there is no grass on the property and several stairs to navigate. It would certainly work for some dogs, but not ours was quite large. We did appreciate David’s immediate response to our request to edit our reservation when we decided not to bring our dog; excellent communication!

Great place on the lake! We enjoyed the patio a lot with the lake view and the bbq. The place was nice and cozy! The two kayaks available at the house were a great bonus to enjoy the lake! I highly recommend this place for a couple for a romantic getaway.

In a word - delightful! We very much enjoyed the back deck and patio with morning and afternoon sun, a relaxing yard with views of the river, osprey, swallows and even deer. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances/utensils/cookware/dishware etc for easy mealmaking. Playing records from Adam's collection was memorable & reminiscent. The beds were very comfortable - especially nice with french doors looking out to the back yard and riverscape. The location is easy distance from Monte Rio, Jenner and Guerneville, paddleboarding, beaching, hiking nearby plus nice to walk our dog Lexie in the extended neighborhood. Adam was a great host. We highly recommend Adam's delightful cottage retreat, and look forward to future stays!

Quaint little cottage and private deck away from and yet close to the town. Excellent and super-responsive hosts, very sweet and kind. Highly recommend for a serene experience in nature on your next Petaluma trip. :)

With both our sons in town, our family took some time away from busy lives to be together and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this charming 1913 redwood cottage full of history! We felt we’d entered another time when it was possible to slow down, sit on the porch listening to the sounds of the lovely garden, and play games or read by the fire. The house and beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the hot tub a nice bonus. We love Pt. Reyes and have stayed in the area many times, but this is by far our favorite spot. We loved staying here and hope to return again!

My sister and I had a great stay at Lauren's place in Forestville. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with a wonderful deck that's nestled in the trees. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. There were black-out shades on all the windows, and it was very quiet at night. We appreciated that the lights had dimmer switches and there were ceiling fans in every room! The only slight bummer was that when we were out on the deck, the noise from the road below was pretty loud, so being outside wasn't as peaceful as we would have liked. The house is a few miles from Forestville, so it isn't walkable to any restaurants or shops, but it's in a great location to drive to various wineries, towns, and Anderson Redwoods State Park. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our time here. Everything was so well taken care of inside their home and you simply cannot beat the view. It's stunning. We appreciated the dog -friendliness and wonderful location as well.

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning. Private and peaceful, it’s straight out of a magazine! Just 6 minutes from the most beautiful hiking trail, Goodlove Trail and just minutes to drive to some of the most beautiful wineries! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Amazing location right by the lakeside and a beautiful well-equipped house. We could see ducks and swans coming out of the water onto the backyard right from the dining table! Would love to come here again. Thanks for being a great host, Barbara.

Zorelle was communicative from booking - Check out. He answered questions promptly, gave great recommendations and instructions for our stay. The cottage was as pictured and very comfortable. It made our "Bucket list" week the best place to recoup in the evening. We had a great time!

This home is an architectural & experiential gem in the hills above Berkeley. The house itself is a marvel, with lots of artistic details, and the outdoor space has ample places to enjoy the sun as it moves through the sky during the day. The views of the Bay are exceptional, and the overall surroundings are really peaceful. Bonnie is an excellent host, she's responsive and thoughtful, especially with offering lots of local recommendations. So grateful to enjoy this beautiful home!

Great stay and a short drive into Calistoga. We were visiting several wineries and that part of Napa Valley is our favorite, so this was the perfect spot for us. The place was very clean and comfortable. The windows have screens on them, so at night we opened the windows to get fresh cool air and to hear the creek. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Napa Valley!!!

It was peaceful and clean but no view what so ever. We felt safe, and private and no wasted space. Some breakfast snacks would have been nice. And only milk for coffee. I prefer cream. It does have a refrigerator and microwave. But overall a nice experience!
