Great lake house located a few meters from the sea. Good fishing opportunities. Nice views of the sea, mountains and terrain. Fully furnished both out and inside. Equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourself :) Nice area for hiking in the woods and fields, on cozy trails. There is a big and nice terrace facing the sea. Access to firewood on site and for warmth, coziness and cosiness in the evenings. Exterior glass pavilion with sofa group and gas fired "flame table" There is a great setting for kayak trips and kayak is included.

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private sauna bar all the way down by the water, and an outdoor jaccuzzi (this is new by July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

Boat can be rented from Saltstraumen pier which is just nearby. Jacuzzi available at price surcharge (1500 NOK per stay).

From this central accommodation, the whole group has easy access to whatever it may be on Kjerringøy. The residence is centrally located on Kjerringøy in the immediate vicinity of Kjerringøy Bryggehotel, Karl Erik Harr gallery and museum, Kjerringøy Gamle Handelssted, Zahlfjøsen gallery and art exhibition, shop, playground, nature and church. The house is spacious and can accommodate up to 9 people. Here you can find most of the amenities you could want in a home.

Large modern house by the sea

The house is located 6 km outside Bodø city center and 3 km from the university in a quiet area. The view is amazing and the fish bite from the rocks by the sea. It is a short way by car to Saltstraumen (one of the world's strongest tide streams). In the summer the midnight sun makes the night light and in the winter the northern lights dances in the skies. We have a nice cat but she can be kept outside if that is prefered.
