Hidden Holler Forest Suite

DebiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Looking for a peaceful getaway? Love nature and beautiful surroundings? Look no further. Hidden Holler suite is nestled amongst the trees on a working farm. Drive a beautiful half mile down a gravel driveway which opens up to this hidden gem. You are surrounded by sounds of birds, guinea hen (they are brave) and grazing deer. Although a farm, it was very quiet and allowed for coffee on the deck while enjoying nature. The inside of the suite has what you need in modern conveniences including internet, a large comfortable bed (there's a single bed in the loft too!). The wonderful aroma of cedar has a calming effect; this cabin is just that. Comfort meets convenience! Grab groceries before you arrive and you can just relax and enjoy nature. I traveled about 10-15 miles to get to Shelby from the suite, but it's a pleasant drive.

Springs Cottage w/Outdoor Oasis - Cozy Backyard

NancyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Aj was a great host! Flexible with early check in and check out rules since we weren’t able to locate the house rule book. We didn’t get to enjoy the home itself as much due to busy schedule with family that lives in town, but the home was located in a great spot, very homey, and we enjoyed our stay very much! We hope to stay here again in the near future. Thanks Aj!

Private home in Shelby

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Enjoyed our stay even if a quick two days for graduation at Gardner Webb University! Place was clean, inviting and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting out on the back deck drinking coffee in the morning watching the neighbors dogs run along the fence line. House was in a quiet area and easy to find and check in. Host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable!

1935 Cottage Farmhouse at Willis Farms

JoyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful home and location. Quiet and private! We were attending a wedding in Shelby and it was very convenient to the venue, without all the hassle of traffic. We were ably to enjoy the fire pit one night and it was so relaxing. I hope we can come again and just enjoy the home and surroundings for a time to unplug!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay during our vacation. Host was very responsive. House had playpen, baby high chair all located in master closet. Plenty of room. Able to turn A/C down to our desired temperature at all times. House was clean, beds were comfortable.

1940s Peach Shed w/Pool May to Sept(20mins TIEC)

RandeeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We’ve had the most delightful time at Purple Mountain! The girls trip brought together for wonderful sisters are lovely niece and our dear first cousin and what a treat it’s been. We’re all originally from the Detroit area, three of us still live nearby parentheses myself included for the warm half of the year), and one is up in Clarkston. Our lovely niece made the trip from Indiana and our sweet cousin-just a few miles down the road made this reunion even more special. The renovated peach shed is absolutely adorable, and we loved lounging by the pool, sharing stories, and reconnecting with cousins we haven’t seen in far too long. Thank you for such a warm and memorable stay!

Equestrian Hideaway

TrishaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is such a beautiful area to stay in. The host was so kind and helpful about anything and everything. If you love horses, dogs and cats and need a daily fix from any, they are definitely willing. The mornings are full of sounds, with birds, squirrels and chipmunks, and the nights are for amazing for star watching.
