Excellent place for a couple or a family of three. It is an independent unit. A huge bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, the single room has excellent air conditioning. It's neat and clean. It is well situated near a number of restaurants, such as Nelum Kole, which is only a few meters away. Everyone, even cab and tuk tuk drivers, is familiar with the well-known Sri Lankan restaurant Nelum Kole. Many supermarkets, vegetable stores, hair salons, and laundry facilities are within walking distance, including the closest large town , Maharagama. During our visit, Sarath's brother in low Gamini and his family next door, as well as his sister downstairs, were an assistance. There were a few necessities when we got there like milk, tea and sugar. Over the last five years, we have stayed in various apartments in Sri Lanka, and this was the nicest one. An absolutely delightful stay at Bright & Airy Second Floor Home! Nadee was an exceptional host, and my husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at her 'Bright & Airy Second Floor Home' for several days. From the moment we booked, communication was fantastic. We had a midnight flight, and I reached out to Nadee to ask for a very late checkout, hoping for 10 p.m. She was incredibly flexible and understanding, and to our delight, she granted our request free of charge! This made such a huge difference to our last day and travel experience. The apartment itself is lovely. The views from our room and the private terrace were absolutely amazing – perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening unwind. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, which was a huge plus for us as we enjoy cooking, and we were even provided with free gas! Gorgeous villa with an amazing view of the lake and lots of space for four couples. The housekeeper, Dileep, was so proactive and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering drinks. We had an amazing barbecue on the last night and the food they cooked for us was always incredible, some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The downstairs is open to the outdoors so expect some wildlife (geckos and mosquitos) - overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with comfortable rooms and a pool with a perfect temperature!
