Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bolivar

This was a lovely stay. The home is historic and lovingly restored to be a welcoming home away from home. The thoughtful touches and all the art celebrating the local area highlighted what a great place this is to visit. I loved the style of the place and how it felt to spend time there. Heather is an excellent host. I will stay here again and do highly recommend this home.

Our family loved our stay at Ken's place. The house was extremely clean, the listing gave us a great feeling going into the rental, and we were not disappointed upon arrival. The property and scenery were fantastic. Our kids loved going out onto trails, creek, hot tub, local lake, and feeding the animals. We all wish we booked a longer stay and we will be back in the near future.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

Beautiful location, right beside the KOA which thr kids loved. Very near Harper's Ferry and local tourist attractions.

This peaceful cottage is in an extremely beautiful and private setting that is convenient to all that the VA piedmont area has to offer. Perfect for exploring the history and culture around Upperville, the Plains, Marshall, and Middleburg, great as a base for outdoor activities in the scenic local parks and trails, or ideal as a restful weekend retreat to get away from it all. Large, comfortable, and well equipped for a couple or small family.

Just what we wanted. Right in town where we could walk everywhere we wanted to. Mornings were checking up on our horse out away from town, and late afternoon and evening were for wandering around and checking up on everything and then deciding on one of the great places to have dinner. Ava was great for communicating with as needed. Responses were always very quick. Check in and check out we’re really easy! Nice clean place!

Amy’s place was amazing. I loved staying there with my family. There’s lots of space and it’s very clean. It’s very close to town into the college. However you do need a car. It’s not a walkable distance. The pictures from inside are perfectly accurate however, the pictures from outside were not available. Therefore I was a little bit surprised but really the inside is what matters and it’s very nice. Amy was a great host and was very responsive and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Great location near shopping in Tysons Corner. The place is in the lower living space of a nice home. It is well kept and has the space for a small family. The kitchen was perfect for my needs. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely stay again if I was working in the area. The host was super responsive and took care of any questions I had!!

This was the 2nd time I have stayed here. Once downstairs & Once upstairs. Upstairs has a better view & more sunlight but I enjoyed downstairs too. The layout is about the same. The community is very quiet. Also very little noise between floors in the house with other guests. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Comfortable furniture & functional kitchen. The deck is huge. The hot tub very nice. Always got a quick response from Host. We are picky and look for places who allow our dog but don't smell or look like they allow dogs. This place smelled fresh & was very clean. The location is ideal being just a few minutes from either Harper's Ferry or Shepardstown. It will likely be one of our "go to" spots in the future.

This apartment was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was very clean. We were visiting Harpers Ferry for the day and it was in a great location for us to be able to do that. We will definitely stay here again!

Debbie’s place is a very nice pet friendly apartment. Just as described and nice restaurants within walking distance. Just what we needed to rest after a long day of driving.

What a beautiful little gem this place was. We were in town for a local wedding so we didn’t get to spend too much time at the property but we felt right at home when we were there. The space is beautiful and homey with everything you need. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. Thank you Alexise for helping us check in more than 12 hours in advance. Your overall warm introductory remarks and the fact that you went beyond normalcy in order to accommodate your guests made our week end....Your unwavering commitment to excellence and definite touch of "bon chic, bon genre" is without a doubt what makes DER a beauty to behold, a place of exquisite workmanship. My in laws and I had a great stay at Krystof's house. It was a great location for what we needed and we loved the grocery store down the street. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed the open concept kitchen. They were great hosts and when we had questions they were quick to respond and friendly. We will absolutely plan to stay again!

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

This home in Potomac is gorgeous inside and out. It looks just like the photos. My girlfriends and I needed a place for a short retreat with enough rooms and bathrooms for each of us with space for us to gather to play games and eat while also having room for us to have some alone time when wanted. This home fit the bill and was decorated in a soothing and relaxing way. The view of the backyard from the living room, sun room, and breakfast area was lovely. The owner, Ben, communicated all the essential information clearly and was extremely responsive to my questions. The only issue for us was that the 1/2 bathroom on the main level was locked so we would have had to use the one inside the bedroom on the 1st floor unless we wanted to go upstairs or use the bathroom in the basement. That would have been a bit inconvenient for the person staying in that bedroom so we got lots of exercise going up and down the stairs. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this home

Absolutely Amazing Stay! This place was everything we hoped for and more! Beautifully designed, super clean, and packed with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true luxury escape. The bed was insanely comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just felt so relaxing. Our favorite part was the hot tub surrounded by fairy lights! The location was perfect—close to downtown bars and restaurants but still peaceful and private. The hosts were amazing, super responsive, and clearly put a lot of care into making this a five-star experience. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely getaway in a gorgeous setting, especially enjoying the water sports and beach areas. During our stay, a major issue with water in the house came up, which Alexis managed to resolve speedily, even over a holiday weekend.
