Holiday houses in Bombarral

My family and I just returned from a fantastic stay in Ericeira at John’s Surfy Loungy Lodge. We could not be happier with the way everything went. The apartment had everything we needed, the views were incredible and the location was perfect. John and Graca were fantastic hosts. We would 100 percent stay there again, and with luck we will, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. The entire experience exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful place! We would stay 2 nights, but would like to book 1 extra night. Beautifully built apartments, all with sea views, always 2 above each other and with private terrace in garden or with balcony. Super nicely decorated and really fully equipped. I think it's pretty new and sparkling clean. What is very nice is the spacious place downstairs, which is accessible via a beautiful path/stairs through a beautifully landscaped garden. There is a wooden terrace with swimming pool (note: no stairs to get into the pool), a very nice outdoor kitchen with fridge and dining table that can be used by all tenants, and then there is another toilet room, there are lovely sun loungers and a cozily landscaped beach. Unfortunately far above the sea, but wow a little stylish and with the view of beautiful sunsets. Recommended!

I remember reading a review of one guest saying how this was the nicest ABNB they ever stayed at, and i have to say that this was spot on. the location and view are spectacular. the house excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Host was also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

My stay in Sintra was truly heavenly! The peace and tranquility of the surroundings were exactly what I needed. The location was idyllic, with breathtaking views and easy access to the town's enchanting attractions. I felt completely at home and rejuvenated during my stay. The atmosphere was so peaceful, it was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

Stayed for 7 nights and the villa was exceptional in everyway. Private and accommodation was top quality with a beautiful heated pool. Car is essential. Host was very helpful.

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩
