This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand. Ha. It’s beautiful here, and your comfort is top priority. Cummins Falls 11 miles. Cookeville Boat Dock Marina on Center Hill Lake 9.5 miles (kayak/canoe to Fancher Falls from the marina). Our family of 4, along with numerous cats and 3 dogs, lives here on 3 acres, so there’s plenty of grass for your pet(s). Quiet, relaxing atmosphere to rest for a day or stay a week!

Grumpy's Getaway is located directly across the road from Rock Island State Park, It has 2 bedrooms, a walk in shower, a wraparound Porch with a Hot Tub perfect for relaxing. Also, have a 50 amp RV plug at the corner of the Cabin for EV Car charging if needed, We Do Not offer a clean out station. Firewood and Kindling are provided.

Very quiet, isolated, 3 BR, 2 BA cottage in the middle of a 60-acre farm surrounded by mountains and the Collins Scenic River. Very close to Cumberland Caverns Cave! Minutes to several state parks and waterfalls. Property has lots of parking and places to park boats, etc. Great place to hike, bike, fish, kayak, canoe, swim, etc. Please read the rules concerning watching children on this property! It is a working farm and near a river and smallchildren should never be unattended!

I absolutely fell in love with this place just looking at the pictures and reading the descriptions. When pulling up the first time, it was exactly as described. The setting was perfect! Everything was laid out so beautifully and you have to make time to catch a sunset or two when you’re there. It truly was serene and being surrounded by cows and rolling fields… it was truly a piece of heaven on earth. The hosts were fantastic and super flexible! I want to bring my kids with me next time so they can get the experience also! I love that it’s so close to so many parks! We spent lots of time exploring the nature surrounding this beautiful home! I’m so thankful to the hosts for sharing their home with us!! 💜

Absolutely loved the cabin!! Beautiful views from the decks!! We got to do a little night fishing as well as daytime fishing. Brooke responded quickly and was very helpful with instructions finding the cabin!! We will definitely be back for more fishing adventures! We would have definitely used the kayaks if the water levels had been a little higher and if it wouldn’t have rained so much!
