Joel’s place was exactly as described! Was a piece of heaven and the hot tea b was always a great way to finish off a day of hiking. There is a binder there that is full of so much info about local shops and hikes and medical stuff and groceries, etc - I just loved that binder!! Chateau Shady loop was a great starting point to all areas of Gros Morne while also being close to groceries and bigger shops of Deer Lake. Joel replies within minutes to any specific questions we had. The place was spotless when we arrived. The sunsets in the hot tub and watching Stanley Cup hockey in the super comfortable rec room chairs were definitely highlights - thank you and we hope to come back some day!!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay and everything was exactly as advertised. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect after a day of exploring. The area itself is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with stunning surroundings that made it easy to unwind. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

Excellent. Location is great for exploring Gros Morne. Fully equipped .cozy and comfortable. "this is a happy place". I also run two airbnb too. So always like to have a spotless and comfortable home for guests. Will like to suggest a light in kitchen sink area. Because it is back lighting when I was doing the dishes so won't know if I am doing a great job or not. Thank you very much Jennifer. Will definitely recommend to friends. God bless

We were amazed from the minute we drove in. The location is so secluded and peaceful and the cottage was so comfortable and well stocked. We had a fabulous stay and it was so close to Gros Morne park. A little piece of paradise! My father-in-law was impressed with the fresh bread waiting on the counter, and spent both evenings listening to the birds and drinking coffee. It was a great first stop along our travels and we hope to be back again someday! Thank you for a fantastic stay
