The Hut at Elm Tree Farm, Mansfield

The Hut at Elm Tree Farm is a place to switch off and reconnect with nature. It sits on 160 rolling acres and is surrounded by a 5000 acre working farm. It is an off grid restored shearer's hut with a separate bathroom/toilet and outdoor kitchen. USB charging is available. The hut operates on 12 volt power and gas is provided for water heating and cooking. There is a indoor fireplace for warmth and an outdoor firepit for fun. It is for guests who enjoy outdoor adventures! Note unfenced dams.

Views will take your breath away! The off-grid lodge is nestled into a ridge & completely private, you have it all to yourselves. Sleeps up to ten people. More if guests bring their swags. When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs.
