The perfect place for a cosy winter weekend away. We loved Scrabble by the fire, dog walks along the nearby beaches, and drinking coffee in bed while the rain came down. Thank you, Isabelle and Liam. 💛

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s a beautiful and characterful home set in nature. Lots of lovely walks nearby and great coffee shops in town.

Returning for our second visit to The Hut and thoroughly enjoyed as much as the first. We relaxed in front of the fire in the outdoor area and forgot about the outside world in the peaceful setting and watching the kangaroos hop by. The property is lovely to walk around with the dog and check out the new Little Springs area by the dam, perfect for a summer evening. Meredith is only a short drive away and can recommend the Rustic Ram for great meal. We were happy to see our host Geoff again who is warm and welcoming and so easy to communicate with. The Hut has everything you need for a peaceful weekend retreat. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Highton House. It’s a lovely home with amazing views and several fireplaces. It was icy cold when we visited but there were also plenty of heaters and electric blankets which kept us cosy. Brad and CJ were easy to get in touch with and were happy for me to bring my dog - who also loved his stay! It’s nice and close to town but feels like you’re far from civilisation. A very positive experience - would recommend!

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. Amazing views of the bay and close enough to cafes and shops but keeps a sense of privacy and relaxed homely feel. Easy drive to all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer..The ambience was beautiful, and Samantha’s communication throughout made everything smooth and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay again if we’re ever back in the area!

Great communication and quick responsive time. Asked what time we would arrive roughly so they could have a fire going prior. We needed extra towels and needed help with using oven and Lars came to help with friendly and professional manner. very quiet and beautiful spot to relax. it was just what we were looking for and very grateful for their time and assistance

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

The house & unit suited us perfectly (6 adults & 4 young children). There was lots of room both indoors & out for the kids (they made great use of the swings/slide). Plus a lovely big table for us all to eat at & great for group board/card games. The extra unit was very a lovely, quiet retreat if needed. The hosts were super responsive whenever I contacted them & when we had an issue (they came to sort it out immediately). Many thanks for contacting me immediately about an item left behind! The added extras of games for all ages, chopped wood for outdoor fire-pit, good supply of basic things (like oil, spices, salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, toilet paper) was great. Amazing views in all directions!

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ems. Fab home, and we had a card waiting for us with lots of other lovely treats! Brekky, bread, wine. The best bit is the outdoor bath and the view from the little terrace. Em was lovely and very responsive. Thanks for making our anniversary special!

We had a great stay at Tanglewood, we were visiting family on the area. Lovely place well kitted out very peaceful and tranquil and a good size. Roslyn is lovely and a great host. We would definitely recommend and return

Jill and Peter’s place was the loveliest stay! They had evening plans but made sure I got in okay and gave me the tour before heading out. Turned on the heater before I arrived and made sure I would be warm enough with the winter cold. They gave full access to the backyard/deck and I was able to watch the birds and the most beautiful sunset. In the morning I was greeted by their sweet dog Meg and shown the sheep and chickens. Jill and Peter were amazing with communication, so welcoming and their place was cozy and beautiful.

Such an incredible getaway. We absolutely loved our weekend away at Kinross and were pleasantly surprised that it surpassed our expectations. We were met by the cosiest cottage with every amenity we could need. The pre-chopped firewood made everything easier, too. The personal touches were greatly appreciated and the property was stunning. Our border collie had the time of her life exploring as much of the place as she could and we all enjoyed the privacy on offer. It was so great to be able to escape the city and relax. We can’t wait to return sometime soon. Thank you Cheryl and Warren for being such great hosts!

Absolutely loved our spa weekend stay, so many thoughtful touches, from the quality bed linen and towels, gorgeous toiletries, great record collection, book of well thought out information about the area, places to eat, visit etc. there was even bird food for the native birds which you could hear and see from the well set up outdoor area. It truly felt like you were at home, they really have thought of everything to help their guests enjoy their stay, we will definitely return 😊 too many personal touches to mention but we fully recommend this lovely home.

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

Such a wonderful stay, in a beautifully well designed tiny home. Miho went above and beyond, catering to my dietary requirements and was also very thoughtful providing a preordered meal (this removed the hassle of cooking after a long days drive). The land and surroundings added to the peacefulness. It was a joy waking up to the sound of cows down the road. Thank you again ☺️

This is the most perfect farm stay. The lodge was secluded and very cosy. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the couch overlooking the hills and watching the cows and alpacas. We were obsessed with the heated flooring in the bathroom 😂. The wind was quite strong but felt warm and cosy inside. Highly recommend

This is my third stay here and as always, everything is clean and tidy, the access is straight forward and the cabin is cosy and private. My dog loves coming here and the yard is excellent being fully fenced with plenty of room for her to run around. Another wonderful stay - highly recommend.
