This is an excellent starting point for both hiking and cross-country trips to the forest and the surrounding hills, as well as cycling trips to further destinations. The house stands alone in a sea of fields, swept by the wind, in a large perennial garden. With many fellow artists and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 90s was rebuilt and renovated, and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann.
