A pretty cottage in a lovely Yorkshire village right on the Moors. Loved having sheep grazing outside the front door. It was a perfect base to go off walking and exploring the area and we felt very looked after by Helen who has taken great care to provide a warm and welcoming home.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage: everything was clean, comfortable and good quality. It’s in a super peaceful location, just birdsong and the occasional baa of the sheep neighbours! It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, just 30 mins from the coast and there are lots of beautiful villages on the moor. Highly recommended by us!

This location is very quite and enjoyable if you need peace and quite, it’s great for long walks. If you go to Whitby go to the park & ride and get the bus into the town it’s a lot easier. The is a lovely place to stay well recommended
