Black Rock Stables

If you enjoy a beautiful view, a peaceful and secluded rural setting and being surrounded by animals (wild and domestic) then this is the place for you! Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. Even so, a few elderly equines can often be seen mowing the grass, and we now have a small petting zoo for your children to enjoy. Registration number STR2526A6090

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Driftwood Cottage, Gateway to the Cabot Trail.

The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, pull out couch, washer, dryer, SmartTV, wifi, kitchen with a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffer maker and a BBQ. A beautiful view of Ann's Bay. Beach access at the Community Hall minutes up the street. Just a minute away from the Englishtown Ferry to the Cabot Trail. In the middle of it all 20 mins to Baddeck, 25 mins to North Sydney and 40 mins to Ingonish and Cape Breton Highlands National park.

New cottage built on the site of a former 1900s farmhouse hence the name Farmhouse as it has been in the family for over 50 years. Not an old farmhouse but a new spacious serene space with views of the Ocean and Mountains. Sits on very large acreage which provides for a get away from it all feeling. The private ocean beach w/brackish pond are an 8 min walk away. Walk the beach for miles and rarely cross paths with others. Come and be close to nature and make memories. Peaceful and serene.

This is a centrally located Airbnb located just minutes from the ocean. The Fortress of Louisbourg is just 30 mins away. The Cabot Trail is not far away with great beaches and epic scenery. The Puffin Pod is a pet-friendly sleeping pod with a cozy living room and double bed in the bedroom. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games. The Washhouse is also closeby, with heated eco-friendly bathrooms and showers. Free access to wood-fired sauna and snowshoes!
