Maison de maître surrounded by a park

19th century mansion surrounded by an enclosed 1 hectare park with century-old trees. The house is in the heart of the village but very quiet and has 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and 7 toilets, a large dining room and two living rooms. House completely renovated combining old-fashioned charm and modern comforts. The bedding is new and the rooms are decorated with family furniture. Baby equipment available. Sheets and linen are provided. The beds will be made upon your arrival and we will wash the linens and towels upon your departure. Cleaning package on request. Please let me know how I can help you plan your visits to the many nearby sights. Note that the house is located on the GR13. In the centre of the village, near the church and shopkeepers. Nice walks from home. The GR13 passes along the property. 14 kilometres from Morvan Park and Bourbon Lancy spa and golf course. This romantic house is situated in a cute little village in the north of the green Allier (Auvergne Rhone Alpes). In the village is a small supermarket, bar-tabac, restaurant, pharmacy and bakery. The village is close to the Allier river, known for it's fabulous canoeing and fishing. The house is on the GR3 Vezelay Route (the famous hiking trail for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostella). In our house you won't find wifi, nor TV. What you will find is calm, rest and board games.
