Quaint modern cabin set in private woodland

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Stoney Ridge Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located on 50 acres of wooded property on Rock Lake in central Minnesota (about 2 hours northwest of the twin cities). The 2,000 square foot lighthouse has seven levels, including the crows nest that is over 50 feet high, here guests can see over the canopy of the trees. It is a timber framed structure that includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We hope you, your friends, and family come to enjoy our property as much as we have over the past 30 years!

Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a ½ mile down the road. Bring your favorite outdoor gear or stay in and enjoy all of the amenities that we have to offer. There is something for everyone. Come relax at this lovely retreat on Mound Lake! Easily spend all day in the outdoors on the lake, hiking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or lounging on one of the decks. Enjoy the outdoors well into the evening using the outdoor fire pit, barrel sauna, or relaxing inside the large screened porch. Dock, kayaks & paddle board will be available from May through September.
