Condo holiday rentals in Bowness-on-Windermere

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! Thank you so much!

Jason was very responsive and picked up right away when we called him to make sure we parked in the right place. He was friendly and helpful. The flat was clean and comfortable. It is a perfect location, everything in town was walkable. We did have someone in another flat playing music into the early hours on Saturday night but our white noise was able to block it out and it wasn’t too bothersome. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a central location.

Great host who responded to any communication swiftly and reassuringly. Property is superb with individual querks which make it unique. Magical information given to us beforehand which was of great value. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Such a lovely apartment. We cannot wait to return. The Pilates/Yoga room was a lovely addition. The only things missing were waste paper bins in the living room and bedrooms. A washer/dryer would be a welcome extra, especially after a hike or downpour. Stylish and superb.

We had a lovely few days staying at Dale’s place. The place was clean and tidy and very centrally located for everything in Keswick. We appreciated the tips on places to go and nearby restaurants. The additional parking time provided on the permit was also a bonus! We’d have no hesitation in staying again.

Just wonderful! Graham and family have such a wonderful apartment for any Lake District trip. Greeted with a lovely welcoming card and drinks in the fridge, the apartment was spotless! Great info for the local area and recommendations which were great. Great location to explore anywhere with ease. Amazing shower and comfy bed. We would definitely return and recommend to our family and friends! 10/10!

We loved our stay at Ruskin. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. We loved the design, comfort and usability of the room. The location was amazing, being only a few minutes away from the glorious Lake Windermere and its local amenities. The communication from Craig was first class and he was super responsive during our stay. Thank you 🙏

Had the most wonderful time. Peaceful location with the most spectacular view...photos don't do it justice! Housemartins provide daily entertainment. Laura was a friendly and responsive host. So much to do in the northern Lakes- planning a return!

We loved staying at the apartment . It is beautiful. Modern decor and spotlessly clean . Correspondence was excellent . I will definitely book again on my next visit .

It’s a cosy apartment with all the necessary amenities and more- good for a family of 3 or 4. Very accessible, 5 min walk to the railway and tourist info centre, with buses towards other parts of the Lakes right at the doorstep. Loved our feline neighbour as well :)

We enjoyed a fantastic couple of days stay at Scott’s place which is perfectly placed in the middle of the beautiful village square in Cartmel so that everything is within easy walking distance. The apartment was immaculate and we (and Freddie the dog) loved it - it had everything needed and some lovely touches like dog treats, biscuits etc and tea/coffee and Scott even asked for milk preference and provided oat milk for us! Scott’s instructions and communication were excellent and parking etc was well explained. Overall a fantastic stay with a great host and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and stay again

The flat was right in the centre of Windermere and a perfect base to explore. We parked in a side street 5m walk away for free and just did everything on foot which worked well as parking is expensive and hard to find. The apartment had nice comfy beds, large sofa, fully equipped kitchen and smart TV for a family film after a long day on your feet. We will be back next year.

I had a lovely stay. The apartment and the surrounding gardens were fantastic and Cate was really lovely. Can't recommend highly enough. I will definitely be retuning for another stay.

We had a great stay at Beck View, Kim is a great host and the apartment was very clean, tidy and organised with lots of thoughtful touches. The views are amazing and we enjoyed the lovely walks from the apartment with our dog.

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍
