Gîte de l'Abbaye d'Etrun and its green park

The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

Chantal is welcoming you in her "gite " . On the ground floor a lovely living room with open kitchen and at the first floor 2 bedrooms , and a spare room with a double bed and a bathroom.

Détendez-vous dans notre cottage au calme au coeur de la campagne ! Ici le maître mot est "tranquilité". Un petit havre de paix pour les voyageurs en solo, les couples, les voyageurs d'affaires ou les familles jusque 4 personnes. La fôret se trouve à quelques minutes de marche de la maison. Vous accéderez au centre-ville et ses commerces à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous avons mis tout notre coeur dans la rénovation de cette maison, et nous espérons que vous y passerez un bon séjour!

The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. You will stay in a ground floor apartment (no steps to access it), spacious and close to all amenities. The history of this place is important to many people in the area! Indeed, for nearly 40 years it hosted a driving school. You'll find a few nods to this in the decor! Mary's House

Enjoy a stylish experience in Saint Pol sur Ternoise. This is a townhouse that can accommodate 4 guests. It consists of an equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, toilet. Upstairs are the two small bedrooms and the bathroom. The house has a small garage where you can drop off bikes or motorcycles. Cars will be parked on the street facing the house. A small courtyard with garden furniture will be at your disposal.
