Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Bradford-on-Avon

It was a perfect location to stay in the centre of Bath and a great place for getting to the university open day.

This property is in such a beautiful village, that we never wanted to leave! The space is bright and airy, w/everything needed to be comfy. There’s a binder w/everything you need to know, plus info about the 2 local pubs & dining options, etc. (Thurs. night at the Catherine Wheel is a MUST!). You won’t find anything remotely touristy in the village, which is why we loved it so, but it’s perfectly situated for easy drives to Bath, the Cotswolds, Diddly Squat Farm & The Farmer’s Dog (for Top Gear/Jeremy Clarkson fans), and so much more! Check out Soho Farmhouse in Chipping Norton for a truly fantastic outing! The Goat Shed has a double gate behind which you and your vehicle are safe and secure (although there’s no need for concern of that in Marshfield!). A grass lawn awaits your pet or children to play in, with zero risk of danger or escape. These 2 ladies from Canada and the U.S highly recommend a stay here (just bring a face cloth, as that was the only thing missing)!

The apartment was perfect spacious. You do need to be fit as it was on the top floor of an extremely steep staircase. It was a hot day when we stayed and although it says can cold at night due to being an old building it was not the case for us. Perfect location and had everything you needed and more.

Rebecca’s place was one of my best AirB&B experiences ever! The apartment (flat) was in a perfect location near everything. It was spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and with lovely views. Rebecca (Bex) was extremely friendly and took a great interest in our comfort and well-being. What a fun period style home on two levels! You feel like you’ve stepped back in time. A large apartment within easy walking access to town. The kitchen boasts a table that seats 10 and is bright and airy. A washer and dryer near the downstairs two bedrooms is a huge plus. The bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The shower curtain in the deep tub was our only challenge as it wants to stick to you. The Paragon was once part of the elite sections of town. And it is complete with a garden for casual sitting. The views out the back kitchen/sitting room windows overlooks the beautiful hills and Georgian buildings. Such a perfectly preserved town of beautiful Bath limestone with a golden patina. Walk anywhere in town in ten minutes with few steep slopes. I found i loved sitting, reading and enjoying a cake and coffee in Waterstone’s Bookstore in the afternoon at their upstairs cafe. If you are coming to Bath do read Douglas Westcott’s Go Swift And Far.

Top floor apartment was worth the stairs! So prettily decorated just like pics. And VERY CLEAN!! Comfy beds and living area made up for the small bathroom. Perfect location for walking everywhere in Bath. Stunning City with so much history…the Roman Baths exceeded expectations and the Pulteney Bridge was picturesque. Neat shops, parks, architecture! There was a great grocery store nearby. Great check in instructions and it was easy to drop off bags and go park (separate fee) at recommended location a short walk away. If you don’t mind stairs, this is a perfect location for all of your Bath needs. We loved it! Highly recommend!!

The flat is outstanding in its style and comfort. The block really is an icon of architecture and wow factor.

Hosts were professional and friendly. Clear easy to follow communications for access etc. Parking super handy to have! Apartment has a few steps to access the main building door otherwise super accessible and flat once inside. Apartment stylish and fun - great for pics if you’re feeling boujee! Would stay again for sure as it was what it said it was!

We stays at Kenzi’s place for one night while visiting bath. The house has three bedrooms and looks newly decorated and in great condition. The location was good as it is short drive to all the historic places to visit in ath. House is super clean and is provided with everything we needed. Parking in the driveway and garden at the back are a real bonus. Thanks Kenzie

I had a wonderful stay at this property during my trip to Bath! The location was absolutely amazing—super convenient with quick and easy routes straight into the city, which made exploring Bath so simple. One of the standout features was the parking: it was easily accessible and there was always space available, which took a lot of stress out of the trip. The house itself was spotless and very well maintained. It felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment I stepped in—a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Overall, it was a great experience and I truly hope to stay here again on my next visit to Bath. Highly recommended and thank you for having us!

Great location if you just want to relax and walk round the village and nearby paths. So easy to just pop back to the cottage to take a break and then venture out again if you just want to spend a couple of days relaxing and enjoying Castle Combe. Cute cottage with many original features. Decent condition considering the age of the house and well maintained!

Harriet and Gideon were so lovely, communicative, and helpful whenever we asked any questions about the local area. It was particularly lovely when Gideon put up a new swing and our 4 year old helped- Gideon listened and answered every question she had. The place is beautiful and we loved the cottage, which is spacious without feeling uncosy somehow. The grounds which are perfect for children and one sunset we watched our daughter play while we ate tea on our private terrace overlooking the tree-filled garden. Just a great experience and would recommend for anyone travelling to the area to explore and relax in equal measure! Thanks Harriet and Gideon!

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

Great place, well located!

Lovely place, the beds were comfortable and the place is so cute. There was even a nice note and snacks. The directions for using everything was also very helpful. Javi by the fans was amazing, as it was a little hot. Great host and place to stay.

The Milsom St apartment was perfect for our stay in Bath, it had history, a connection to Jane Austen and the perfect location to explore this beautiful city. Nigel & Karen were so helpful , their apartment was perfect.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

Wow! The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the bus stop and city center. The apartment had a warm ambiance, was beautifully decorated, and felt very homey. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I loved that the apartment looked exactly like the photos, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!

What a great location and a perfect, private apartment! You couldn’t be closer to all of the incredible sights in Bath. Steps from the Roman Bath and Abbey. The apartment was exactly as listed. For finicky American travelers, there isn’t A/C for this 4th floor unit, but Amanda has provided several fans and you can open the window in the living room for fresh air and a breeze. Spacious bathroom and great shower. I couldn’t find the switch for the stovetop, but Amanda responded in minutes to explain how to turn it on. My only quibble was that the kettle was unusable. It looked like someone tried to boil milk in there. Fortunately, Amanda provides pots, so I just boiled my water the old fashioned way for tea. The apartment was equipped with everything I needed for my short stay. She even provided a small thing of milk and a few tea cakes to tide things over. Couldn’t recommend it more! I’ll definitely stay here next time I come to Bath.

Jayne's apartment is spacious and modern, and is well equipped and comfortable. The position is very convenient for the neighbour hood Hub, with great value eating, and a frequent bus service to the city centre. Jayne is a very responsive host, she sent us clear instructions well in advance and was quick to help us sort out some housekeeping issues we had. Thank you Jayne for a great stay.
