We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

A beautifully designed house! Even better than the pictures and perfectly located. Tasteful decor and well equipped home meant this was a perfect stay for our birthday weekend away! We’d happily come and stay again!

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

We had such a lovely stay here, the place was private, well presented, neat and tidy. It had everything we needed and was a comfortable home away from home. The little town was also very nice and a short walk to a small village shop and pub. Alison was very friendly and welcoming. Would defnitely stay again if we come back to England.

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Very clean and well presented including a bottle of milk and delicious locally made Bakewell tarts to welcome us on arrival. That was very much appreciated! Would thoroughly recommend the property and the friendly hosts.

This cottage stay was a dream! We loved walking around the village and eating at the local pubs and cafe. We also made use of the kitchen to prepare meals and loved eating in the garden. The beds are very comfortable, the entire space all together cozy. The village is about a 25-30 minute walk into Bakewell and a 10 minute drive to Chatsworth house. Highly recommended booking here!

The Old Timber Store was everything and more, a gorgeous little gem nestled in the Derbyshire Hills. The property itself was tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings (I’ve definitely taken some inspiration for my own home!), and the location was lovely! The amenities in the village were wonderful and the property was so close to Haddon Hall and Chatsworth - was really easy to nip back and forth with our 6 month old daughter. A wonderful stay with lots of gorgeous walks, if you’re thinking about booking this place - do it!

Beautiful caravan in a stunning location Ashbourne heights caravan park is lovely, very well maintained. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable and cosy, decking with chairs is a great addition especially with the weather we had. Walking from the door step, we did Thor’s cave circular and stepping stones, tissington trail is just off the site entrance so no need to drive anywhere. Honestly one of the best family weekends we have had will be booking again in the future ❤️

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Lovely place to stay, house and location was beautiful. Host was so welcoming and friendly. The animals on the little farm was such a lovely touch. We had an amazing time, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Loved our stay, very accommodating, very quiet and cosy. Easy to find and a lovely pub nearby for food. Sadly couldn’t use the pool due to having the dog with us but looked great! Very reasonably priced and nice little farm shop on site. A lovely stay! Also brilliant communication. Thanks

This place was fantastic. Beautiful renovation of a chapel. Our kids absolutely loved the large jacuzzi and I loved the sauna. It’s a pity we spend just the one night Would recommend highly.

We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). Such an amazing place with all elements beautiful crafted to create a warm and inviting space. Had the best stay here, with such a responsive and informative host !! Wish we could’ve stayed longer as we felt right at home. Everything was so well thought out and with the best intentions as well, Tupperware, a thermos, large brollies etc etc The most enchanting place !! <3

Beautiful location with many walks and rides from the door. The location is great - right in the heart of many outdoor places to go. Enjoyed watching the ducks, sheep and cows going about their day. Glorious views from the back patio area truly part of the Derbyshire countryside. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could hope for, and is much bigger than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. Easy to find and despite being within a working farm was peaceful and a lovely place to spend a couple of days. The shower was excellent after a long wet walk. Thanks Allie for a great relaxing stay. I hope to return with my dogs in the future.

A wonderfully peaceful place to stay in the Peak District with fantastic walks out of the door. Denise is incredibly friendly and helpful making us feel right at home. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying again.

Emma was a fantastic host. Very friendly and welcoming. Responded quickly to our queries. The place was lovely with loads of walks. Not far from the centre of town. The binder of walks and amenities that Emma provided was an excellent touch. Would highly recommend!!

If you’re looking for a spacious place with charm and character in abundance, this is the place. Lovely house, beautiful quiet rural location. Perfect for our weekend family get together, plus Jill was helpful in ensuring we had all we need for our pets and children too.
