A perfect accommodation in a pleasant, peaceful and quiet setting. The summer kitchen as well as the house kitchen were very well equipped. Bocce ball court, heated swimming pool with many deckchairs, ping pong table, foosball, everything is well thought out for vacationers. Stephane and his wife are responsive, welcoming and warm.

We had a very nice stay. The view from the apartment was even better than on the pictures, the hot tub was a nice extra, the hosts were very friendly and being able to get breakfast in the morning was a good benefit. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend Fred's place for longer stays.

This is one of the loveliest long term stays that I have had ever had. This feels like a true home - all of the amenities and appliances that you could need for cooking at home and having a relaxing evening after a day of travels, including a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, and multiple sets of dishes. Never had any issues the hot water or water pressure. The wi-fi is incredibly fast and reliable, perfect for video calls for work and video streaming. The hosts live nearby and were very flexible and responsive when our train was delayed coming into Carcassonne, and they met us at the door and helped us to settle in. They also were very patient and helpful whenever we had any questions or issues (including those that were caused by our cat!) The location is incredible, very close to tourist sites and a nearby park / walking trail. Carrefour is about 15 mins walking, Lidl is a little further (25 mins walking). We'd love to come again!!

stayed for 3 nights, very accommodating to allow us to store bags before check in time. Everything you need, well placed for old and new towns. Flat is in a basement, but not a problem. Some traffic noise to front of apartment, again not a problem. Nice park good local coffee shop. many restaurants and bars within 15 min walk. Recommended.

A fabulous few days spent relaxing with friends in a comfortable well appointed house. It had everything we needed - big table to eat at , plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, chilled courtyard space with options to be out , in or halfway. V close to the shop and bistro. The trains weren’t running but easy driving to Carcassonne and Limoux. Thanks again Olivier.

Very good stay for our family of 4 in Sophie's cottage, who is very attentive to hosting her guests! The kids loved the pool and garden and the little bike ride along the canal with the bikes provided. The cottage itself is pleasant and everything is well thought out for a pleasant stay. We loved staying in Palatz, a very nice family business. The gite was clean and complete, the swimmimgpool big with a nice view and there are a lot of beautiful seats everywhere. But most off all we loved the delicious diners Natasha made every evening! We visit the beautiful Abbey nearby Narbonne and did a wine tasting at Chateau Du Luc. Also Carcassonne and a super nice brocante at Rieux Minervois. We come back for sure!

A fantastic week at this lovely property. The house was really well equipped and was beautifully furnished. The hosts were really quick to respond when we had an issue with the cooker and they were incredibly helpful and friendly. The view from the house was amazing and the pool was very much appreciated in the summer heat. We can't wait to return
