Historically steeped in the mining past, our bedrooms look out of lead light sunray's to the moss laden forest below as does the deep bath with unlimited hot water for bathing and showers. A relaxing , tranquil and private home with everything we need to revive the senses after an adventurous day on the trails. The wood burning heaters and fire pit circle provides us a cosy area to gather where stories are told and memories made.

Absolutely amazing cabin in close proximity to the trails of derby. the space is clean and bright with spectacular views of bushland. Host went above and beyond due to a personal issue that I experienced during the stay. absolutely first rate location and facilities. have already booked a future trip to the next door two bedroom location. 5 stars.

We stayed at Michelle's beautiful cottage for the weekend to try out the mountain bike trails at Derby. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, clean and homely with ponds and gardens surrounding it. The location is perfect as it is private and peaceful yet only a short 7 minute drive to Derby. Michelle was super friendly and welcoming and left us some fresh fruit picked from the garden. Would highly recommend!

Lovely little home in an idyllic part of the world. We were scheming to find a peaceful weekend getaway in Tassie, and we weren’t let down. Fantastic amenities and very comfortable. We were even left some fresh eggs and herbs, which complemented our dinner well. Jason was very lovely and helpful with local tips.

The showers were amazing! Wasn't expecting something so pristine and private from shared amenities. Great place if you need hot food, hot shower and a place to sleep. There is even breakfast! We are coming back!

A lovely stay in such a peaceful hidden away location - with only the sound of distant cows... bliss. Nice & cosy with good heating on a frosty night looking at the stars. Our dog enjoyed the little yard whilst we enjoyed the challenge of cooking in the wood stove. The nearby creek is a beautiful spot to decompress too.. Highly recommend!

beautiful small house, nice and quiet. had all the amenities that you need. Very cosy inside, was nice sitting around the fire. beds we're very comfy and warm. If you're looking for some piece and quiet and somewhere cosy to stay I recommend staying. The host Nick was also great to deal with, let us know everything we needed to in advance. Being a cold night when we stayed he left extra blankets and wood before we got in.

What an absolute beauty of Airbnb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cedar Church. As soon as we walked in, we felt so comfortable and relaxed. The styling is so luxe and beautiful, and the view incredible. Sitting on the deck watching the farm animals and various wildlife was so peaceful, we also enjoyed strolling up to the top of the driveway on the hill looking at across the valley and to the Ben Lomond mountain area. Hubby was brave and went for a cold plunge in the river nearby which he highly recommends! The nearby Evandale town (about 15-20min drive) is gorgeous. The corner store has a good selection of groceries and a few cute shops and cafes. The courtyard at the Clarendon Arms was also great! This stay exceeded all expectations even after the 5 star reviews and we would love to come back one day!
