What can I say about Crow’s Hermitage that the other reviews haven’t already captured? If you’re considering other options—stop looking. You’ve found the perfect place. As many others have noted, the photos can’t possibly convey the enchantment that settles over you the moment you arrive. From the character of the home to the serene outdoor spaces to the thousand-year-old parish next door, it feels like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. When it comes to hosts, Colm is in a league of his own. He went above and beyond with directions, thoughtful recommendations, and any request we made. By the end of our stay, we didn’t just feel cared for—we felt like family.

Too the Shore is luxurious, quiet, elegant, and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, patio, and balcony overlooking the ocean. From Susan’s house, you can walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, a Cliff Walk path, and the train station. Susan checked in with us just to make sure we were comfortable. What a wonderful family trip we had!

Gianpaolo's place was the perfect basecamp for our exploration of Wicklow National Park and the town of Wicklow. The neighborhood was nice and their home was super comfortable and clean. The view of the ocean from the balcony and back bedrooms was an added bonus. Our hosts had great suggestions for food and local activities and were great communicators. I would definitely like to return in the future if I get back in the Wicklow area.

Very comfortable and cosy and right on the water. Highly recommend. It was a bit chilly but there is good heating although for one day it wasn’t on, but to be fair it was unusually cold weather for early Summer.

Our group absolutely loved staying with Sarah and meeting her family. Her place is the kind of place you make sure you go to when in Dublin. And her care for her guests is beyond compare and made us feel that the real patron saint of Ireland is Sarah.

We had a wonderful stay at Angela's, very friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived. Gave us lots of information and was at hand, if we needed any help. Padraig helped us one evening when we had a minor problem and came straight away, which was very kind. Lovely talking to them both. Angela's place was very comfortable, clean, hot shower and comfortable bed. The kitchen was very well equipped. Very private, with room to sit in the garden also. We stayed five nights and would have been happy to stay longer. Angela gave us several suggestions to visit and we were pleased follow up on her recommendations. It was such a pleasure to stay at Vivienne's place! She is super friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with her when we checked in. We immediately felt right at home! She gave us tips for restaurants to go to, which was much appreciated. Check-in time was flexible and arranged through Vivienne's clear communication. She sent us a photo of the driveway entrance, which was very helpful. We loved the private back garden and the coffee machine in the adorable kitchen. It was the perfect place for us to stay on the last night of our trip before we flew out of Dublin airport the next morning. Thanks, Vivienne!

We had a lovely stay at the Annex. The location is beautiful and peaceful - surrounded by green fields and grazing sheep, and is also a short drive from Navan, Ballymagarvey Village and sites like the Hill of Tara. The Annex itself was spotless and very comfortable. There was on-site parking, which was very handy. One of my favorite spots was the lovely side garden. It was the ideal place to enjoy a morning tea or coffee or just relax and take in the scenery. Our host, Fiona, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. If you're looking for a relaxing escape in a picturesque setting, I highly recommend staying here.

This little cottage is a haven to stay in, so clean and comfortable and Carmella is a wonderful helpful host. Staying here made our first trip to Wicklow a very memorable one, would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

The apartment is super comfortable and very functional, the area is quiet, safe, pleasant and beautiful, close to buses, Eamon is very attentive, before leaving I washed my clothes and we liked that a lot, totally recommended, I would definitely return.

Steve is a rock star of Airbnb hosts. He is proactive, warm, provides a wealth of worthwhile recs, and greets you upon arrival and reviews everything about the house and area. Wow. He was accommodating with our schedule, which we really appreciated. He left some snacks and the house was stocked with essentials. When I emailed, he responded ASAP. Amazing. The apartment is sweet and has a charm. Highlight was the patio as we were blessed with beautiful weather. Loved the sauna! The apartment building itself is worn as is the staircase in the building and the stairwell. Feels like typical city living, but the area is great and easily walkable to most things. Furthest walk was the jail at 30 min but otherwise most things about 15, and Guiness Storehouse is around the corner. Grocer, great bakeries and coffee shops right out the door. All in all, an excellent stay.

A great location for a stay in Dublin area. Direct bus route to city center. Restaurants and grocery stores close by. Would definitely recommend this place.

Family with kids stayed at Bridget’s for a week. When we arrived, Bridget greeted us out front with home-baked biscuits and bread and a fresh bowl of fruit. The home had a back patio which made it convenient for our kids to play outside. It was clutter free and easy to maintain cleanliness (especially with kids). It also had space in front of the unit to play and walk around in grass and with flowers. Bridget was kind and responsive throughout the trip. She provided us with a pack n play and high chair. She also had eating utensils for little kids available. The home was easy to feel comfortable in and we would certainly book again. Only heads up (that has nothing to do with the actual booking) is being prepared for winding roads leading to the Airbnb. Don’t ride in the back of the car if you have motion sickness.

What a lovely stay! Darrah’s air bnb is clean, comfortable and cosy, and truly the nicest location, we found it easy to get around, we didn’t have the time to hang out in the bar below but everyone was really friendly, and we didn’t have any noise issues at all.. Howth is a beautiful place and would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at Denise's place in Dublin. Very central, we walked everywhere and the tram stop is a couple of minutes away if needed. The apartment had everything we needed. All around highly recommended.

Claire’s place was great! It’s close to many Dublin attractions was quiet and comfortable each night. Claire was very responsive and helpful throughout the check-in and checkout process. We had issues with getting online after landing in Ireland, and she was very quick to reply and help us get checked in.

I had a great time staying at Muriel and Tom's place. They are amazing hosts and very helpful when it comes to discover the area which is walking distance to Blessington and a bus stop next to the house. As I was travelling with my bicycle, they provided space in their garage for storage in which I want to thank them for arranging it. Their place was well-furnished and very clean. Overall, I felt like at home during my stay and I would choose this place if I ever visit the region again.
