Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

Thank you so much LIyn for your kind hospitality, the current toasted bread was prepared for us at check in in the afternoon and it was delicious.The room is tidy and spotless, the kitchen is fully equipped, the room we stayed in has a large garden, full of purple flowers, walk to the supermarket and the forest park, it is very convenient, quiet at night, made us enjoy the perfect vacation.Totally recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Airbnb. Patricia was super friendly and even had all kinds of fun toys ready for our 1.5 year old daughter. Very sweet! The Airbnb itself was very cozy and nice. Definitely recommended! The chickens that roam by complete the whole :)

Fantastic house with a very beautiful soul. You'll quickly feel good and it allows you to fully enjoy the stay. We went with a baby and everything we needed was already set up. We will most certainly go back!

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

Perfect house and a very friendly and helpful host.

We were there the second time. Great accommodation and beautiful grounds. The large pool is heated and therefore great for the whole family even in not so hot weather.

Traveling in Europe for two months and this has been our favorite place. Coby was so friendly and helpful. We spent time with her and her husband Wilem and feel we’ve made Dutch friends.

Great location for trips to Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp. The apartment is complete with many amenities and space bedroom, bathroom, separate kitchen and living room. Annelies is hospitable, complete in her instruction and friendly in her communication. We enjoyed it from the beginning to the end and look back on a fantastic Pentecost weekend. An outstanding holiday let, we loved it. The setting was beautiful with views across the fields, great cycling/walking on the doorstep, and everything had been thought of inside to make a really comfortable and easy stay. The hosts were kind, friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean. We'd very much recommend a stay here!

We were able to relax for a long weekend in the barracks. The place is fully equipped, the bag with things we always take with us just in case could stay closed. In particular, the spacious kitchen turned out to be a nice place to hang out. Communication with the host about, among other things, delayed arrival went smoothly and thoughtfully.

Very lovely and peaceful place. It felt like home. I love how Karen & Tom did put an effort to make this place a special stay for guests. Clear instructions, friendly & responsive host, spotless place, well equipped kitchen, peaceful & romantic place in the nature. Supermarkets are like 5 minutes driving in a lovely small town. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi. Whenever I’m in the area I would definitely book this place again.

It was a great stay. Check-in was very easy, the neighborhood is quiet, and everything is close.

Mark and Kim’s place was a lovely peaceful and comfortable home with everything we needed. We were staying in the area for a couple of nights to visit De Efteling which is an easy 15 minute drive from Haarsteeg, so the location was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, living room was great to relax in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely bath and shower! Mark always replied really quickly and the check in was very easy. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Unique experience in such an old historical building

We were warmly welcomed by Klaas Jan. Refrigerator was well stocked and there were also some treats available. The house, and certainly the kitchen, is equipped with every comfort. There was also a covered and enclosed area where we could store and charge our bikes. We sat outside on the banks of the Hollandse Ijssel, at the back of the house. The front is located on a busy provincial road, which is audible in the house and garden. The living room and kitchen (upstairs) are very spacious, downstairs, where the sleeping quarters are, it is just a little cramped for 3 adults. Also because the master bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom. In addition, there was no curtain/door at the bedstee to darken the daylight that comes through the skylight early in the morning. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay in this super luxurious AirBnB and we would highly recommend it, especially if you are only two!

We had a nice stay at this property and felt at home from the first minute. Communication with the host was super friendly and quick. We were away for a weekend with friends and had a great time. The cottage is great anyway! The location too. Kim and her husband are friendly, helpful and always available. Woudrichem is a beautiful little fortified town. Would you like to dine there? Or make a reservation. The choice of restaurants is limited. Supermarkets within walking distance, also handy! We used the barbecue at the cottage. Go out with the ferry. Very nice!

Even better than expected. Perfect set up for families and Annemieke has put in a lot of attention to detail to make sure the stay is a good one. My children loved the large garden and animals. We loved the relaxed and welcoming environment. There is lots to do in the local area. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice time with our 20-month-old daughter. The facilities for children were certainly in order according to the description. There are no stair gates, but all the room doors can be closed, and the balustrade with bars is child-friendly, so this worked well for us. Mechelen is a super fun city with kids!
