Amazing Apartment Amsterdam near citycentre 165m2

JojoRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Apartment kitchen private Finnish sauna & Jacuzzi

CariRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the ā€œcommuteā€ a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience ā€œcity life,ā€ and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

"Geinig" hospitality in the gardens of Amsterdam

PeterRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

Spacious house with Spa near Amsterdam

FannyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

Houseboat 'Jupiter' Amsterdam

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

This is our second stay and we loved it even more than the first. Ella constantly goes above and beyond to make things just so we notice lots of little details including soap that was toddler friendly, fresh flowers, and some little welcome treats all waiting for us … but the most amazing treat was a little pull along toy that was age-appropriate for our toddler Very flexible and accommodating with checking in and check out and we are most grateful for that extra flexibility and kind We couldn’t recommend Ella or her home more highly we will be back again

Darleys Bed & Breakfast Hilversum

NoufRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

Plashuis in Reeuwijk near Gouda

KaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Woonboot / Houseboat

CharlesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Cottage under the old oak tree

JakubRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The hospitality of Mrs. Triena was like a dream. She greeted us very nicely, showed us around the cottage and offered various attractions. We are very grateful for such hospitality and kindness. The area is beautiful - full of greenery, rural animals only complemented this wonderful landscape. The cottage is very cozy and clean. The place had everything we needed for everyday functioning. We are enchanted by everything we have seen in the area and we will definitely return for, I hope, a longer stay. Thank you!

Houseboat (old cargo ship) in Jutphaas, Nieuwegein

MarionRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it out. So we looked for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easy to reach by bus (runs every 15 min) and is very nice in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, we could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we couldn't find a decent cafƩ or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Many thanks to Pauline and Raymond!

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

BillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place exactly as described. It's not 5*, it is two old (but well looked after) caravans, but they have everything you need and look out over the garden and the fields beyond. Easy cycle to get to Gouda and there are shops etc in Stompwijk only a short walk away

Atmospheric chalet in the middle of the forest in the Veluwe

JeroenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent a long weekend in this beautiful accommodation. In the middle of the forest, in peace and quiet. Swimming pool and playground around the corner, but unfortunately too bad weather to enjoy it. Parking space in front of the door and a beautiful private garden (where we spotted squirrels!) with outdoor furniture. Inside the cottage, it is spotless and truly everything is present: from a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful shower to a full cupboard full of books, toys, DVDs and a cot and high chair for our baby. Beautiful interior full of details. Wonderful to unwind in all luxury; that is possible in the accommodation of Berrie and Brenda. Highly recommended!

Cosy holiday home at the Veluwe

elsRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

Houseboat city center of Utrecht (free parking)

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years
