Pilsen is an amazing and very walkable neighborhood! The pink line is steps away. Gabriel is helpful and responsive. We had a small issue and he resolved it quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Very walkable to public transit, super comfortable sleeping arrangements, and beautiful apartment in general!

The house is wonderful, huge, well-equipped, organized, clean and very comfortable. Having coffee at the disposal was amazing and made us very excited to enjoy the day. The location is great, close to everything and easy to reach, quiet walking in the neighborhood. The communication with Jesus was wonderful, answered us promptly and always helped us, including at check in and check out, as well as city tips. I highly recommend this accommodation. We are in 5 people, we are very comfortable. We rent to participate in a medical science fair.

Looked just like the photos/description. Convenient location - in front of a bus stop and near a train station. Easy check-in. Initially had some trouble getting hot water from the shower but Cam was responsive and was able to address quickly.

Very convenient/walkable to green and red metro lines, as well as a few blocks from a great grocery store. Felt safe on a quiet street yet still very close and accessible to key Chicago locations. I was in town for a graduate class on the south side and this was a great home base.

Friendly, quiet neighborhood. Great small vintage shops and family run amazing food and live music bar 2 blocks away. Lots of parks near by! Quick and easy transport to the city! It was perfect for a weekend in Chicago!

Pilsen is a lovely community and with a variety of places to go eat and visit. Most things were at a walking distance. As far as the air bnb itself, it’s true to the images and clean/well organized. Super comfy and home like! I would rebook again for sure ☺️

Jasna was an amazing host! The house was absolutely spectacular—truly even better than the photos. Every room felt thoughtfully designed and full of warmth, making it feel just like home. We had all the amenities we needed, which made our stay super comfortable and stress-free. It was the perfect setting for a special girls’ trip with my mom and sister. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, adding to the relaxing vibe. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you again for everything, Jasna!

I traveled to Chicago for work and had a nice three-day stay here. The Airbnb is in a great location, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. I particularly enjoyed the small library!

Such a great place to stay

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodations. Lisa was a helpful host and everything was very nice quality and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with a big “rain” type showerhead AND a regular size detachable one. The neighborhood and yard area was calm and chickens were very cute! We had some fantastic empanadas at a nearby cafe called La Mulata - definitely recommend. There are a bunch of cool historical buildings nearby too (including the building the cafe is in). FYI since it’s a basement apartment (as advertised) there are a couple spots with slightly lower beams coming down from the ceiling). At 6’2” we were good to walk around without impediment, but I put my hand above my head at the lowest spot and the clearance was only about an inch, so if you are any taller, be careful or you may hit your head! My family and I enjoyed staying here. I was born and raised in Chicago just 4 blocks from this Airbnb! It was such a great experience to be back in my old neighborhood. Olusesan is a phenomenal host! I highly recommend this place.

Patty was extremely responsive prior to our visit to Chicago, during and post our stay. She also immediately addressed and resolved our cosmetic and minor concerns. Patty was beyond accommodating, kind, accessible, and understanding of our needs and expectations as we were traveling from three different states and with family members ranging for the age of 3 to 85. We booked this Airbnb for our family of 16 for Easter weekend and EVERYONE loved it. It was important that our elders were comfortable, safe and enjoyed themselves, they were sooo impressed and happy. The space is huge and perfect for entertainment. There are a ton of activities available and enough room for everyone/couples to have their own bed/room. With 1.5 kitchens including two stoves, it was convenient, as we cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day in large quantities. The home was beautiful, comfy and we felt right at home! We highly recommend and can’t wait to book this Airbnb for our next trip to Chicago!

Basement appartement but spacious, not too dark and benefit of the use of the outside garden. Kitchen has everything you need, and there is ample storage space. Shower is one of the better I encountered in the US. Came here to attend a conference and will definitely book again if the conference returns to Chicago. Reliable, friendly host, no question was ever one too many.

It was a very cozy apartment with a nice set up. Easy access to university of Chicago and the lakefront trail. We really enjoyed our stay!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Great location and property!

Alex was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout this process as it was our first time using Airbnb and in Chicago. The home was clean although there were a few areas that could use more of a deep clean. The neighborhood was very relaxed but there isn’t a ton to do (no coffee shops or any local shopping) However it’s only a 6 minute drive or 20 minute walk (we walked and it was really nice) to china town or just to view the river. We only stayed 3 nights and we definitely would stay again!

Everything went well. Place was very nice and the host was very responsive when I needed help and accommodative as well. Highly recommend if needed a place near downtown.

This is our 3rd time staying at Thomas and Cynthia place. We would have it no other way. Home away from home every single time.
