Sleights is approximately 3 miles from the quaint seaside town of Whitby, renowned for the gothic novel ‘Dracula’, its stunning Norman Abbey, and delicious fish and chips. This countryside haven is the perfect escape from the rush and stress of city life.

Sleights village is a gem of a village just on the outskirts of Whitby and at the foothills of the North York Moors. For those who enjoy a stroll, Whitby is an hours walk away. You will stay in a airy bright and beautifully converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa. Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

Townsend cottage is a luxurious barn conversion only 5 minutes drive from Whitby town centre. Rural and sea views. Indulge in the scenery and watch the local wildlife from the lounge window. Private parking. Enjoy the history of this barn - named after Flight Lieutenant Peter Townsend who shot the first German plane in WW11 to land on English soil. Within 2 minutes drive you have 2 pubs,a cafe/ garden centre and a tea rooms. This is a very well equipped property, with a quality finish.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

You can see the North Yorkshire Steam Railway from the comfort of your cottage, which has stunning views over our garden and rolling fields. Its peaceful and quiet with big skies, in our own private grounds, fully equipped, with parking, just perfect for a cosy and relaxing weekend or longer.

Moorview is a private one bedroom semi detached whole property with twin beds. Located a short distance from the North Yorkshire moors with easy access to the popular seaside resort of Whitby. Downstairs is an open plan living space featuring a fully fitted kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom. To the front of the property is a cosy decked area for al fresco dining in the sun. Free parking and easy access to rail or bus services available.

The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

Our Treetops cabin is a woodland room, en-suite with a stunning outdoor space and fire pit, views through the trees, and sounds of nature all around. Treetops is one of three cabins set in 4 acres of woodland. Individually designed and centrally heated, Treetops has a double bed, a shower room, a dining/seating area. We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a gas barbecue with gas ring on the porch.
