Close to Glencolmcille beach and the folk village. The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away. We have an EV charger.

Three upstairs bedrooms and a downstair bathroom, with bathtub and shower. It is situated close to Donegal Airport and beautiful blue flag beaches. Local pubs, shops and resturants within a three mile radius. Ideal for hill walking, diving, angling, kayaking. Boat trips to local islands. Mount Errigal, Glenveigh National Park within close prox.

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
