Get away from the crowds and back to basics in this SIMPLE and COZY, OFF-GRID mountain hut–style dry cabin with stunning views. Tucked beside our off-grid home, this is a peaceful nature escape with limited power, no running water, and an outhouse. Heated by wood stove and supplied with seasonal water, it’s best for guests who enjoy simple living and an unplugged experience. The solar system is small and it is not possible to plug in your vehicle. In winter, our steep driveway requires 4x4.

Carriage house - open concept one bedroom suite upstairs and games room (unheated) downstairs. Quiet location at Hatzic Lake with Westminster Abbey and mountain views. Parking for max 3 vehicles permitted. Fully equipped kitchen! Fast wifi, 55" Smart TV, books, games, go for a walk, relax in the antique clawfoot tub. BBQ and fire pit. Dock, lake access for kayaking is June to early Sep. (high season). Limit 4 adults per booking with up to 6 guests including children. No parties & no visitors.

Secluded lake front cabin

Lakefront cabin at a quiet fishing lake (10HP boat limit) Almost 1000' lake frontage on a 10 acre property. This is a modern cabin/house. Landscaping is difficult in this area, but there is a nice patio and amazing views! You can walk around the lake which is about 5km, or one hour. This is a quiet area. There is a campsite on the other side of the lake, and approximately 20 other cabins around the lake. On summer days you will see people float around the lake on docks and small boats.

Welcome to your private oceanfront getaway Nestled in a (distanced) private area of our property awaits this 40 foot rustic/industrial style converted bus. Take in the ocean view of the Sooke Basin and the mountains of Washington state across the strait of Juan De Fuca. Enjoy a visit from our dog, Argo, who lives on the property and loves our guests. Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.
