Holiday rentals with lake access in British Columbia

I had a great time at the zola zoo inn! The owners are amazing people who have beautifully curated the place that is answers to your every need. I went there with friends and family and we had the best time ever! Lots to do and perfectly built to relax and reload. Come here to take a break and leave with a lot of memories!! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Joey’s place made for a perfect weekend getaway. The home is stunning and new, the soaker tub was lovely and everything I needed after a long drive up, the lake was fairly accessible and was so nice to swim in after a hot afternoon, and the view from the deck was so relaxing from morning to night. Very private, and easy to relax and unwind here in the sun or under the covered part of the deck. Wish I could have my morning coffee there every day.

Pro’s: Krista was a great host. Easy to reach when I had any questions and always seemed happy to help. This place is just as beautiful as the photos. It’s spacious and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay plus so much more. Lots of rooms and nice big beds to comfortably host larger groups. Air conditioning worked great and was such a blessing on those extremely hot days. So many games and activities to always have something fun to do. My group wants to book it again ASAP. Con: The only minor con was that the property does back onto the highway. They did a great job installing a huge wooden fence which gives you 100% privacy. The only thing I’d suggest is to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

I can say with confidence, this is the greatest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. First and foremost, the home itself is incredibly unique, and stunningly beautiful. You have spectacular views from every room, you have a Santa Fe inspired design that works effortlessly. This is a place where you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s warm, bright, comfortable, and as the youth say, insta-worthy. The house has every possible amenity you could want or need, and then some. My biggest regret? Not booking more than 7 nights. It was the wonderful vacation place for my wife, two young daughters and I. We will absolutely be back and cannot wait to return! Thank you again for the best family vacation!

We had such a great stay at this Airbnb! I stayed with my best friend from Ontario, my daughter, and her friend, and the place was perfect for all of us. It was incredibly spacious, which gave everyone room to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub — we used it in the evening and morning which made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The Sharon and her husband were friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. We’d absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay overlooking Salish Sea. Spent hours looking for seals and whales in the sea. Inside is modern, clean and had everything we needed! Host was incredibly responsive and helped out with all our requests. Thanks Christine!

We had a wonderful stay! Our toddlers were absolutely thrilled with the backyard, and the location was perfect for bike rides. The place was incredibly spacious—more than comfortable for four adults and two toddlers. We absolutely loved it and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

The escape was really peaceful and beautiful! Paul communicated clearly and stayed in contact throughout the booking through our departure. We would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a nice place by the water and the Boathouse turned out to be the perfect spot.

The address and google maps was a little off, I did a few laps of the block across the street. My confirmation gave one address but the address in front of the building was different. It would be more clear if the name of the building was given. Manager was excellent, attentive but not invasive. There were chocolates upon arrival, some delicious homemade cookies, choc dipped pretzels & fruit, and easter egg hunt for my younger child and even some delicious homemade cabbage rolls. Having laundry on site was a blessing. Place is exactly as pictured. Having a full sized kitchen to cook meals in for a family was great for a longer stay. Would definitely stay again!

Even better than expected. The cabin was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature and well kept trails. I loved visiting the chickens and seeing the friendly dogs. The sauna, bbq, and wood stove were all easy to use. Stunning views and total quiet. It was exactly what I needed. Would definitely stay again.

Located steps from the Olympic plaza, super convenient to get around. Underground parking is close to elevators. Host was very responsive, check-in time was strict 4pm, I had another unit few doors down the hallway, not sure why we couldn't check in to store our luggage at least, the other units let us check in usually by 2 or 3pm if we needed. Can get a bit hot as this unit does not have AC, overall find unit with large dining table and seating. Murphy bed was nice for a 3rd person, much better than a sofa bed as it had an actual mattress.

This place is a dream. Just stunning. Pictures don’t do the view justice. We sat and watched hummingbirds on the deck at sunset, and woke up to the incredible sunrise in the morning from bed. The rental was very well equipped with nice pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. appreciated the nice coffee and French press machine.

Best Air bnb I’ve stayed at so far! Spacious with a massive private deck. Super comfortable beds. Hidden gem in Nakusp! 10/10

Carl’s place was great and very comfortable and clean. Attention to detail was spot on. The location was perfect and between two lakes. We really enjoyed access to the bikes that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and a nice leisurely bike ride around the lake. He also gave us some great recommendations to local restaurants and things to do in the area which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend Carl’s place.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than expected due to a family emergency, but the host was incredibly kind, understanding, and thoughtful throughout. They even offered me a refund for the nights I couldn’t stay which they absolutely didn’t have to do. I’m truly grateful and touched by their kindness. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend this place and host!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s Cottage! very clean, comfortable bed, wood burning stove and thoughtful little welcome note. Home surrounded by greenery and only a short driving distance to town.

Thank you for hosting us - we had an idyllic, peaceful stay but not lacking in things to do. We enjoyed the hot weather by relaxing on the red chairs on the dock, taking the kayaks out on the lake, having a BBQ in the evening, chilling in the hot tub. It was a beautiful setting and the lake house cabin itself was lovely - beautifully decorated and incredible views. Emma was a very responsive host and had all the information either to hand or a quick message away. We are so pleased we found Emma’s place and wish we had longer than a couple of nights as we would’ve happily stayed the week if we weren’t moving around!

Gathered at Loralee’s cottage with family for a family wedding. The house was resonably clean - kitchen cupboards a bit sticky, but otherwise wonderful set up. Lots of dishes and cookware, 4 different coffee pots (keuring, french press, drip) but no teapot 😢. Bedrooms were cozy and comfy with decent storage. Great to have the deck to sit out, read and enjoy a drink. Very walkable area with nearby hiking trails. Hardest part of our visit was getting past the Airbnb questions to get the security code! The rest was a breeze!

Lovely place to stay in an idyllic location. The Guest House is very comfortable with great beds and a good outdoor space for eating. We loved swimming and paddle boarding from the private jetty and watching the sun go down beside the fire pit was a treat. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
