A lovely place with an amazing view of the Solent. One afternoon we just spent with the doors open in the sunshine watching the boats come in and out. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything I needed to cook the meals, and everything was clean throughout. A really nice break, and would absolutely recommend.

Highly recommend this cottage. We went as a family to celebrate my mums 80th birthday and it was perfect. Quiet, with stunning surrounding views and a beautiful sunset view. Fab memories that will last forever. Thank you.

The Little House was perfect for our trip! It was very easy to find and in a beautiful location, and within a couple minute walk of the beach. The house was very private and spacious, more than enough for two people.

We had an incredible stay! The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and exactly as described—if not better. The location was perfect for exploring, and every detail was thoughtfully provided to make us feel right at home. One of our favorite parts was the amazing selection of games—such a fun touch that made our evenings extra memorable! Communication with our host was seamless—quick responses, clear check-in instructions, and great local tips. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and fun getaway!

We had a great stay at Katie’s place! Amazing location overlooking the beach, picturesque views and walk around. Katie was quite accommodative to our requests and gave very good local recommendations. Overall we loved the property and would love to stay again.

We just returned home from a weeks stay at Carols Coastguard Cottage and we are already planning on when to go back. While I’m sure the beautiful weather we had for our stay was just a blessing, the cottage was the perfect place to decompress for a week. The peace that came from sitting outside under the canopy, listening to waves while watching and making friends with the shore oath walkers (and their wonderful dogs) was exactly what we needed. But if you don’t feel like interacting, it’s very easy to just keep the gate closed and sit in a perfect solitude oasis. The walk to the village was very easy and we were delighted with the many options for meals, our favorites being Sozo and 6-3-1 and of course The Sipster, which we spent a wonderful night getting to know a group of locals who all knew of Carol and how amazing she is. I could go on forever about how great this place is but I only have 90 characters left so I’ll just say book now, you won’t regret it at all.

Absolutely perfect house and hosts. Couldn't do enough to help. The house was beautiful and had everything you could ever need. Even down to laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, tin foil, kitchen roll and seasonings! Those are the little things that make such a huge difference. They've really thought of everything for you. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we'll definitely be back.

We had a lovely weeks stay at the bungalow Beautiful surroundings lovely walks in the woodland. Only thing I would say was the sofa and bed aren’t very comfortable so we did have sore backs most mornings. The host was really helpful. Hot tub was on when we arrived and great to get into straight away. It’s a very peaceful place if you want to switch off and the garden area has been done very well. Thank you I would recommend this place for a quiet getaway

Lovely property! The view is absolutely stunning! Great location - many pubs near by, children’s park and walks to do from the property and only 30 min drive from Buttermere lake ‘which is a must’! Perfect for our 2 year old, she loved running around the garden and seeing the view & sheep! Great communication with host. Would 100% recommend!

Colin and Emma were truly exceptional hosts—so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. Their property is absolutely stunning, and all the thoughtful little touches they included made our stay even more special. Their hospitality was genuinely outstanding—an easy 10 out of 10. The house was immaculate, beautifully presented, and had everything we could possibly need. I can’t recommend the hut experience enough—it’s such a charming and memorable getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

The bungalow had a stunning view and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Alan was super responsive and gave clear, helpful instructions. Our kids loved the Xbox and games provided. The host truly went above and beyond — highly recommend!

We were able to have a genuinely restful and enjoyable weekend away. The property's location was stunningly quiet and picturesque. We had a wonderful couple of days at Welham Meadow. The area is so serene, it felt like a dream when you stepped outside! My wife and mother in law took advantage of the fishing lake and really enjoyed having it right on our doorstep. The lodge had everything we needed, including a fan as it was very hot the day we arrived. Georgie was incredibly helpful and responsive too. Thank you Georgie and Maggie!

Loved the location, it was very peaceful and had fabulous views. We got to watch the deer and saw sheep playing in the adjacent field. Mountains were beautiful and we watched a bright orange sunset. We also enjoyed each room having its own en-suite bath. Comfy beds and plenty of seating in family room. Games were left for our entertainment as well. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Mechele
