In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

Great view of the river, passing ships, and fantastic sunsets… which is what we were looking for in our few days up on the River. place was nice and cozy. wish we had more time to relax and enjoy. I’d return here again!

How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

absolutely loved this stay, we needed a few days away from our fast paced life to relax with the family and thas exactly what we got. beautiful home, comfortable bedding, breath taking scenery , hot tub was a plus. we loved it. our kids loved it even more. This was the second time we have stayed here at Heather's place. The location is second to none; peaceful, private, beautiful. The house was clean, easy to find, easy to access using the lock and instructions she provided. We had a great time on the back deck, utilized the grill and the kitchen with no glitches. Everything was great! I'm so glad the unit was available for the weekend we were looking to book. We can't wait to return, and possibly stay longer than a weekend. Thank you Heather! Nancy U.

Location, location!This is a beautiful location, on the St lawerence river. We enjoyed watching the boats pass by, bird watching, and smelling the flowers. There are 2 full kitchens with with everything you could need. Lots of space with 2 full living rooms and 3 bedrooms. There are bikes to use and canoe. We loved our stay, and cant wait to come back! Lexi is a great hostess very kind and helpful.

This is a magical place. We spent as much time as we could on the screened in patio because of the view, wildlife and relaxation without bugs. The living space was beautiful and functional, so well stocked of essentials and more. It felt like we were visiting friends who were happy that we were there. Great communication, very welcoming. We found the location to be a nice balance of wilderness and close enough to towns for needs. It was a great spot for us as we toured through all the towns outside of Ottawa. This area of the world is beautiful. And there are no better hosts than Julie and Tony.

Maria’s home was beautiful with a spectacular view right on the water. We enjoyed time on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing in the bay. Maria was kind enough to provide us wood for the fire pit and the kids loved cooking s’mores at night. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Maria’s home was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you Maria for being a wonderful host and sharing your beautiful home!

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

We had this one booked since November so we were super excited and it was as nice if not more beautiful in person, we will keep coming back and already have other locations booked, see you soon

Very spacious comfortable accommodation. No easy place to go for a walk other than the main road, and driving required for food and drink.

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming and cozy home! The house is quaint, clean, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The bedding was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well! The host went above and beyond with personal touches, leaving us snacks, coffee, and condiments, which was so appreciated. We brought our dog along, and the fully fenced backyard was perfect — safe, spacious, and such a great bonus for pet owners. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, a warm and welcoming stay that we’d happily return to!

We had a great stay at this cozy place! The host (Jake) was super responsive and made everything really easy for us. Even though we were mainly in the area to visit the Thousand Islands and just needed a spot to crash, the Airbnb itself had so much to offer—hot tub, pool, and a fun games room. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because we spotted a snake hanging around the hot tub (just one of those outdoor surprises), but aside from that, the stay was definitely worth it. Would happily come back and recommend to others!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Michele’s beautiful home! The house itself was great; clean and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. The backyard was extremely peaceful and nice, with a large pool, patio, hot tub and barbecue for us to use. I’d highly recommend staying here for anyone looking in the area!

Such an incredible property surrounded by nature. The location is perfect, just a short drive into town. I highly recommend sleeping with the windows open listening to the flowing river & the wildlife in the background. Kate is a very thoughtful host who made sure us & our two dogs were comfortable throughout our stay. This place & its beautiful gardens is a true escape from reality! Cant wait to come back again.

Christine was really great! We had trouble with the heat, but she was quick to respond and fix the issue. The place is nice for such an old building. Good beds, nice living room with smart TV, great kitchen!

Loved visiting this place, even in the winter season! The house is warm and incredibly beautiful with full in views of the boats, sea planes and wildlife of the St. Lawrence. It’s so nice to lay in bed on a day off and watch the amazing scenery on the river pass by the massive windows as the sun comes up. The house was incredibly clean and well supplied we quickly and easily found everything we neeed in the kitchen to cook our own meals with the groceries we had delivered. Gerard and David were very friendly hosts, we would happily rent from them again.

We enjoyed the cabin over a family weekend. It was cosy and thoughtfully designed. We liked walking the trails on the property and watching the bird feeder. Christine went out of her way to help us make the most of our visit, even during a very rainy first day.

Renfu and Ying are super hosts. To any questions we had, they responded in a heartbeat. We conveniently got to access the property a bit earlier and they were even mailing us a personal item which we unfortunately left behind. We would recommend this spacious and neatly kept home to anyone - the kayaks you can take out while on vacation are a fun addition. Thank you Renfu and Ying :)

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

I wish I could give 1000 stars. His little slice of heaven on the lake in the woods was amazing. He was an amazing host. We will definitely be back and we are going to bring out daughter next time.

Some places are just houses. Others hold space and pause. From the first moment we walked in, "The River Retreat" welcomed us like a warm hug. My siblings and I came here to honour the one-year anniversary of our mother’s passing, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Peaceful, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. Every room, view, and amenity gave us a chance to breathe, reflect, and spend quality family time together. We tried all the amenities, including the hot tub, canoe, kayaks, fire pit, and pool table. But our favourite pass time and location was definitely the home cooked meals around the round table overlooking the river. We left feeling full in every sense. Thank you Marlene and Morgan for being such fantastic hosts! We’ll absolutely be back.
