Your booking here helps support our Schiffmühle location, where the boathouse and the grounds along the Alte Oder river are regularly open to social groups at no cost. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

Vacation home in the countryside

The apartment is located in a stylish old farmhouse converted in 2023 in the Schorfheide nature reserve, and is only a 2-minute walk from the lake, where you can swim quietly and relax. The house has a rowboat, which can be used for a fee (€10/day). From the large outdoor terrace you can watch cranes and storks in the meadow belonging to the courtyard. The Chorin monastery and the Brodowin eco-village can each be reached in 15 minutes by car (30 minutes by bike).
