In winter the 17th century Vicarage and the lake glitter with ice and skating is in front of our doorstep. Our private Spa/Sauna & Massage treatments is open for our guests only. Get cozy and settle into this rustic space in a quiet and historic village and be in down town Amsterdam in 15 minutes. The place is situated in the center of an old 16th century Dutch village. It is a five minute walk to the bus station and a 10 minute bus ride to Amsterdam. Buses go very frequent. It has all the comfort you need for a longer stay including cooking facilities and a washing machine. Obviously free wifi an acces to various TV streaming services.

In the old center of characteristic and unique Broek in Waterland in a barn rebuilt in 2017 behind the farm. Entirely private home with access (self check-in). Split-level with private garden. Downstairs (24 m2) is the living room with sofa, mini kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom and toilet. On the loft is the bedroom with double bed, plenty of closet space, hang and lay. WiFi available. There are two bicycles (Veloretti) for rent, 10.00 per bicycle per day.

Are you tired of the city? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would like to welcome you to my unique location in the middle of the countryside of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. The ferry is, by the way, private property, and is only used by my guests.

Our cottage is in one of the most beautiful Waterland villages, Broek in Waterland. It is located in a beautiful area, 8 km from Amsterdam. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away, so you can be at Amsterdam Centraal in 12 minutes. The guest house itself offers everything you need during a vacation. In our guesthouse, it is wonderful to "come home" after, for example, a busy day in the city, or, for example, a bike ride along all the nice villages here in the area.

The Practice

A lovely luxury accommodation with all the comforts, in the beautiful rural village of Broek in Waterland. 20 minutes away from Amsterdam city center. It is a five-minute walk to the bus that runs directly to Amsterdam Central Station. It is completely private with a terrace all around and a beautiful garden with three places to sit. Fenced all around and lockable with a nice gate. The house is not suitable for small children.

Guesthouse de Volgermeer

On the edge of the village of Broek in Waterland is this nice, modern furnished cottage. The guest house is surrounded by meadows and adjacent to the Volgermeerpolder nature reserve: the ideal starting point for beautiful hiking and cycling trips through Waterland/Great Amsterdam. When you return to the cottage, you can enjoy the panoramic views and the most fantastic, colored sunsets both indoors and outdoors.

After an inspiring day in Amsterdam, it is wonderful to come "home" to this original apartment, which was built in an old hay barn in the village of Watergang. Where everything is available for a relaxing stay for 2-4 people. Also very suitable for a holiday or longer stay. Free bikes for every guest and free canoes and a kayak available.
