Dave is a very a welcoming and generous host. As soon as we got there we felt right at home. The projector was wonderful and the den was more beautiful in person. Definitely book the Bear Dens! It’s an awesome stay!

Historic Railroad Caboose - Unique CT Farm Escape

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was an amazing place to stay with my three year old! Laurie’s husband came out to show us around the place and my son grabbed his hand right away and was so excited! They had teddy bears and books set up for him and he loved every minute of it! When we woke up the next morning he said “I don’t wanna leave this place!” 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

Little House in the Big Woods - Tennis Court

JeanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed for a wedding held at the Gwyn Careg Inn and The Little House was perfectly located just a few minutes from the wedding venue. This is a beautifully maintained old house with beautiful grounds for strolling. Very warm and inviting living room and dining area. I would say that taller travelers may find the upstairs bedrooms a bit challenging as the sloped roof and old architecture dramatically reduces the headroom in those bedrooms. Not a strike against but something to be aware of…part of the charm of an old home. Just a neat old house and we enjoyed watching Hammer the beagle keeping an eye on things.

A unique place in quiet area. Have stayed here several times and will do so in the future if circumstances permit. Excellent kitchen and TV room. Stairs could be a problem for elderly.

The Barn at Pondview

This was, hands down, the greatest AirBnB our family has ever stayed in. The property was beautiful, well-appointed, and everything was meticulously thought out. Our host proactively reached out to offer an early check-in so our young children could maximize their pool time. And the bar and game room was a great way to spend a rainy day. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

Windham Gardens

I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over and this one is really special. It’s so roomy and beautiful decor, like a French country Inn. The bed is comfortable the bathroom is large and the shower works great. There is a large living room area filled with flowers and plants and everything you’d want in a kitchen. The hosts are so friendly and the whole surrounding property is beautiful. The place has superb light from the skylights and is peacefully quiet. And there are plenty of electrical outlets and the WiFi is great. Altogether a transporting experience staying here.

Historic Downtown Haven Stylish & Central

TammyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We needed a place for our family to gather for a UConn commencement and this worked perfectly. There were enough rooms for privacy and to hang out together. The rooms are bright and sunny, especially the large front bedroom. The location is good for walking to the town center for a coffee, or for driving to other nearby towns like Putnam or Brooklyn, and Mystic's less than an hour away. We appreciated the willingness to arrange an earlier check-in time, and other communications that were answered promptly.
