Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Peaceful village surroundings, private parking attached to the cottage, and yet the main village of Broughton in Furness is just two minutes walk away, boasting three pubs, and an exemplary greengrocer, bakery & butcher.

Brock Cottage, Broughton-in-Furness

Brock Cottage is an idyllic base for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria's south and west coasts. Nestled in a historic cobbled courtyard, this romantic cottage is a moment's walk from the Georgian square and the pubs, restaurants and shops of Broughton-in-Furness. Our 18th Century cottage has beams and an open fire. The bench in the courtyard, and the rear seating area with barbeque overlooking gardens both catch the sun at different times of day, making this the ideal place to relax.

Nestled in the small market town of Broughton-in-Furness, the cottage sleeps 4 guests. Garden, off road parking and open plan design, with 2 bedrooms bathroom and downstairs toilet. All in walking distance are the local shops, cafes and pubs. Being on the edge of the Lake District, it is a 20 min drive to Coniston, and a 40 min drive to Ambleside and Windermere. Please note we do not accept pets. We do not allow electric car charging on the property. There is car charging in the village.

The Old Wash House at Syke End

Sitting in the South-West corner of the Lake District National Park, The Old Wash House is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding mountains and lakes as well as Cumbria's South and West coasts. Dating back to the 1600s with lots of original features including an exposed stone fireplace and wooden beams, this charming cottage is located in the historic market town of Broughton-in-Furness and is only a short walk to the Georgian square, pubs, bakery and all other local amenities.

Close to the fringes of the Lake District National Park it is an excellent location to relax and enjoy time visiting our local attractions, Silecroft Beach and the Duddon Estuary or an approx. 30 minute drive will take you into the Central Lakes to Coniston, Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere or up the west coast to Wasdale, Eskdale and the famous Scafell Pike

Situated directly on the banks of the picturesque River Duddon, surrounded by the National Park Southern Fells. Stylish kitchen, traditional shower room, spacious utility area and private parking for two cars.

With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable living room & a fully equipped kitchen. We allow a maximum of four guests including children. Up to two dogs are welcome at Latter Rigg Cottage.
