Enjoy an Adventure in "Glamping" at Highland House on Pittsburgher Highland Farm. This custom built Tiny House is situated on 140 acres of rolling farmland, hills and forests, with Scottish Highland cattle and chickens. Located about 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, there is lots to see and do both on site and nearby.
“Just as described! Stocked with water, drinks, coffee - muffins, fruit, eggs and ground beef from their farm were all waiting. It’s a kid friendly space and my 4 year old enjoyed the pond, flying a kite and watching movies at night from the pull out couch. It’s a 20 minute drive to Living Treasures so we headed there one day but otherwise, no need to leave the farm. We relaxed in hammocks and cooked all our food on the grille. We had to be mindful of electricity use but it was solar powered so that is to be expected. It’s the perfect weekend getaway, especially if you live in the city!”
Amazing basement studio apartment located about 20 minutes from the airport and to downtown (depending on time of day and traffic). There is free parking, a private entrance, kitchenette, bathroom, shower, laundry room, dining area, and a 65-inch TV. There is a day bed and a futon. This listing and all amenities are not shared spaces and include a private entrance. I do live in the upper level with my pup, but no interaction is needed unless requested. Cleaned professionally between guests.
“Nice space at a good value. I would hesitate to recommend if you are a light sleeper; I was awoken several times overnight by a barking dog upstairs.”
Beautifully rustic Tree House nested in private wooded grounds, minutes from Ohiopyle
“This air bnb is everything and more of what was expected. The treehouse is perfectly decorated and is surprisingly spacious as well as clean. If there are any problems or concerns, the host Nicki will respond almost immediately. Nicki hospitality was superb. The location is very private and cozy, yet conveniently only 10 minutes away from white water rafting, biking, hiking etc. there’s plenty of places to eat in town. I highly recommend this place and Will definitely be staying again.”
